I added another 32 gb of ram for a total of 64 gb. Now it has some decent speed and can handle most anything I ask it to do. I would recommend this mine computer to anyone that is looking for a mine and is not into a lot of gamming. The media could not be loaded. The second I got the Alexa alert that this was delivered I flew from my desk to the front door. I hooked it up to my own keyboard, mouse, and monitor and was up in running in just a few minutes; Windows 11 Pro was already installed, I just had to enter my user/network info. I'm using it as a media server (Plex), a file server, and I'm going to dual boot it to test out Proxmox. In these use cases the fan on the top barely spun up, I didn't hear any fan noise until I did some performance testing. What those tests showed is this is a great desktop for regular office work but it's not a gaming machine. (See test result images.) With all those cores and threads it will make a great Docker or Proxmox server for running several low impact services. It would also make an amazing Home Assistant server, a huge upgrade over a Raspberry Pi. Oh, and it's also powerful enough to do lighter programming work like building websites or simple C# type apps. A great thing about using it for work is you can hook up three monitors allowing multiple views of your work. For instance I have my debug output on one monitor, a web browser for reference on one, and my main monitor has my IDE. There are several models, I got the AMD Ryzen 7 5700U version with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB drive so these are the specs for that specific version: AMD Ryzen 7 5700U CPU Vega 8 iGPU 8 core/16 thread 8 MB CPU cache Clock speeds: 1.8 Ghz base / 4.3 Ghz burst 32GB RAM (Gofatoo - Single DIMM) 1TB M.2 NVME Gen 3 (Gofatoo) On the front: Two USB 3.2 One USB-C (can be used for video out, 4K @ 60Hz max) Headphone jack On the back: 2.5Gbps network Two HDMI ports (4K @ 60Hz max) Two USB 2.0 6E Wi-Fi Bluetooth 5.2 Includes Windows 11 Pro ... show more

This is a very impressive mini-PC. The first thing I did was take it apart to look inside of it. It's built rather well, and it is easy to access the RAM and NVMe. There's even enough space to install a 2.5" SATA drive! The CPU is quite a bit quicker than you would expect, the Ryzen CPUs are quite good. The included 32 GB of RAM is sufficient for many tasks, and it also works quite well with Linux. This could also be a great little mini home server!
