Final thoughts up to this point in my experience with this Mini PC: Great deal for a capable machine. This box is quiet. Can be mounted on the back of a TV or Monitor with the included VESA mount. Have played a few of my old favorite games on this thing without noticing any significant performance impacts. It is super portable. I had high hopes for this mini PC based on the impressive specs, but unfortunately, it is one of the worst-designed computers I’ve ever used. The cooling system is completely inadequate for the Ryzen CPU, leading to instant thermal throttling, even during startup. Performance is so severely impacted that the system becomes unusable, freezing or shutting down under even the lightest workloads. No amount of tweaking settings or external cooling solutions could fix the issue. If you’re considering this mini PC, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. We replaced our old tower computers at work with this and after 6 months have had zero issues. Way more power than they need and it should last them for 5-10 years. Power draw is very low, the 2.5GB ethernet is great and gets 275-280MB/s and drive speed is excellent, around 4200-4500mb/s second and run dual monitors easily. We could have saved a little money and got a lower spec unit but this will last much longer before needing updating or replacing. ... show more

I got one for someone at work to replace a older big tower computer and liked it enough that I bought one for myself. You can run geekbench 6 yourself to see how these benchmarks will compare. Against the R5 5700X the single core speed is a bit faster while the multicore speed was 10% quicker all while taking very little power. ... show more

This system has been an issue since new. I can't use it, as it appears the fan does not run at the correct speed. Going from balanced to performance in the BIOS has no impact on the fan speed. The same can be said when making the change from within Windows 7. The computer will reboot itself, which is very irritating. I'm going to stick with Mac Minis, as the quality allows for a stable system. ... show more
