I ran this radiator after installation in myJeep on a 1200 mile road trip and cooling wise even with high rpms for extended periods of time in the mountains it kept the Jeep right at temperature. As with a lot of Chinese products I have bought for my Jeep, modifications had to be made and since it is substantially thicker than the OEM with the plastic tanks, I ended up having to move things around to get everything to fit back in properly that I took out to install it. Additionally, I had to modify (cut) the plastic housing that holds the cooling fan on the radiator. If you like to tinker and take more time than you thought you would to install it, it’s a good buy considering it’s completely aluminum! ... show more

I was going to buy this item brand new but it had a large shipping window. I scrolled down and found a return for $75 off. So I picked it and got it in 3 days. It was a day late but I am not complaining. This really did install with ease. I had to modify one shroud clip but that was it. I did redrill the top screws but over all I am happy. I changed my radiator last year with plastic and it was leaking again. So I ordered this and it works flawlessly. You can't get solid aluminum at any of my parts stores. Great upgrade. ... show more

Quality is nice for the money but the threaded brecket locations are not exactly correct. You will need to egg or slot your holes. You will need 9 or 10 m6x1 bolts

Keeps the ol jeep freezing cold. Takes a little fabrication on the brackets. Had to use spacers on the a/c condenser mounts. And the fan shroud needs trimmed. But for the $$$$ ide buy again.

Radiator seems well made but the cap or the filler neck is faulty. Coolant can flow to the overflow tank but does not return to the radiator when the coolant cools!

    • Don’t Buy

First, you will need to purchase hardware in order to install this radiator. It does not come with it. The radiator has not worked from the moment it was installed. My mechanic has gone through and replaced everything in the cooling system, (water pump, oil cooler, all hoses, radiator caps tried in various weights), to finally find that it was the defective radiator and has been this whole time. The coolant will not return to the radiator when the fluid cools. This product has a flaw and should be addressed. Now I have to buy a new, working radiator and have it installed. The seller refuses to accept responsibility or offer any working solution for this issue. I hope this review helps others to know what they are buying and the issues it may have. Great product.. no leaks out of the box. It fit perfectly regarding the size compared to jeep's location of install and surrounding fan/air intake... no modification needed -- a couple issues (3), however.. 1st-- facing front when installed; the lower right mount on the radiator is slightly off compared to the OEM a/c condenser mounting tab. I had to re-drill into the tab to correct. 2nd-- the wrap-around mount with the a/c condenser lines is also slightly off.. not a big deal but needed to re-drill this hole as well. 3rd-- All OEM screws will need to be replaced for mounting the condenser onto the radiator--- as the stock screws were course thread for the OEM plastic radiator sides for mounting.. the new aluminum will need machine screws.. this was understood and fine with me In all--- very happy with this product.... thank you ... show more
