For a Little pond pump this is really a good strong performer. I've used it under two different circumstances. In one case I pumped water over 30 feet and ran it through a barrel filter and it was amazing how well it kept up. Now I'm using it as an oxygen producer simply to create a forward water motion and bubbles for oxygen. The cloth bag filters well and doesn't require high maintenance.

The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?: A friend that knows fountains and pond limbs recommended this as she has had no issue with hers-so I bought it. This was my first attempt at building a fountain and this pump has made it easy. The cord is super long and though the fountain is in the middle of my yard, the 33 ft cord gets to the house for power. Set up was a breeze. Super powerful and quiet. Love the sound the water makes when it drops: price was reasonable and it comes with a mesh cover to help from junk getting in there.

I’ve run this pump for two years in my koi pond, providing water to my bio-falls, about a 6 foot rise. No problems at all. I replaced a much more expensive pump that did last for many years a but at 5x the price. So far I’ve been pleased with the performance.
