The lamp is smart looking and easy to assemble. The bulb sticks out a little but not really noticeable. The item is packaged well. The first lamp I ordered was perfect. The second one had a slight scratch on the brushed brass base. Not a deal breaker but wish it was perfect. Overall, a good buy.

For the most part, it’s beautiful, however it came with a wrench but I don’t know you would use it for. You pretty much just screw the pieces together, and because they are attached to the cord it’s pretty much self explanatory. But if I was supposed to use the wrench instructions would have hopefully told me when and where to use it because the opening on the wrench is way to big to help put the lamp together. ... show more

I had to return the lamp. Assembling the pieces was easy until the end when screwing the nut on the base to the stand. After tightening the nut, when I stood up the lamp upright, the stand tilted and didn't stand straight. I tried to tightened the nut but it wouldn't turn anymore. When I closely look at the nut, it was threaded on the rounded side and not on the flat side. I couldn't tightened hard enough to make the stand not lean over. Also, I noticed the weight part on the base was unglued when I pulled it out, which was okay since its' purpose is to weight down the lamp. I didn't wan to send it back since It's a good lamp, simple and exactly what needed but I couldn't accept the fact that it didn't stand straight. ... show more

I love this desk lamp! It looks very chic and expensive. It is easy to assemble and it's pretty sturdy. My only comment is that the bottom of the lamp could be developed further but it's not visible once its on the desk. Overall very happy with this find.

    • Functions as advertised, looks more expensive than what you pay for!
I mean at the end of the day it’s a lamp…. I think the brightness really just depends on the bulbs you use. I could put in dimmer bulbs or brighter bulbs depending on my need for lighting, so rating the brightness doesn’t even make sense here. You could use them as desk lamps like I do which usually calls for brighter bulbs, or bedside lamps which are dimmer. Chargers on the lamp obviously won’t output as much power as you expect it to, but obviously it will keep your devices alive and charge them a little so it’s a nice add-on. They’re cute and they definitely look more expensive than what you’re paying for them. ... show more
