Cant complain bass is crispy & clear sound. you will need a sub if you want more bass. I pushing them with my 7.5 75 watt per ch. Denon receiver & my yamaha sub,center,middle atmos,plus my rear left and right rears surround the sound is amazing can't complaint well worth it cause I tried them by the self before I added al those extra surround speakers & the sound still amazing specially with classic rock or classical tunes very clar sound ... show more

    • Fantastic speakers for a reasonable price

Let me start off by saying that I'm not an audiophile with dog-hearing. I am not able to speak on frequency responses or anything technical like that. I'm just a guy who likes to watch movies and TV with great sound and these speakers deliver, without costing a fortune. I bought the S809s, the center channel, and the larger of the two S subs. Compared to my old soundbar, these sound fantastic. They're good looking speakers that blend in nicely with my living room setup. I can see myself having these speakers for a long time and getting my money's worth. Some people have noted that their speakers came slightly damage, but mine were in great shape when they arrived. Next up, a pair of the Dolby Atmos speakers for the tops of these, to complete my setup. Can't wait. ... show more

I recently replaced my LCR speakers with the Jamo. I was a little skeptical given the price and some of the other reviews on Amazon, Audiophile, etc., but was pleasantly surprised! I took a chance instead of buy the Emotiva T0 speakers ($100 more), and have zero regrets!! Out of the box with no sub, running two channel stereo and without using the Denon Audyssey setup (AVRX2400H), these sounded great! After balancing using the Audyssey setup, it was just short of unbelievable given how inexpensive these were. Overall, they have an even and flat response range from 60hz through 14khz without distortion even at low power levels. For those who like a powerful 60hz (and below) range, you’ll definitely need a subwoofer to compliment the low end. For context, I have a Klipsch (parent company of Jamo) 12” ported sub I use with these which I had to turn down considerably since the Jamo speakers carried most of the low frequency right up to LFE frequencies. A couple of items I’m not crazy about; the cabinets are a strange trapezoidal shape which throws the eye off when sitting in front of them (I always think they’re crooked or not level, although they are). The second one being the veneer (I ordered the Walnut veneer). Don’t get me wrong they look and sound amazing, but the veneer is akin to IKEA furniture veneers - up close it looks more “plastic” than it does wood. That said, the quality of the build is fantastic and tight. The steel isolation stands (aka feet) that come with these are also very high quality and lend themselves to a very sleek minimalist/modernist look typical of Scandinavian design.     • WOW...Crazy sound for the money!

15 Years after ditching my old surround sound system for a sound bar setup, I decided it was time to go back to BIG sound. So many options out there from cheap satellites to next level Audiophile level stuff. After weeks of research I thought I had settled on Klipsch and Polk as they were priced well and were well respected by most people. Then I went down a crazy YouTube rabbit hole and happened upon a crazy amount of reviews for Jamo speakers. I am no Audiophile and I don't really want to be but I want good sound when I watch movies and spin some Vinyl. These S809's DO NOT DISSAPOINT! I plugged these in to my YAMAHA RX-V385 with no special configuration, and they produced some fantastic sound. Don't expect a killer amount of Bass but that's to be expected with these size of speakers. Once I plugged in a 20 year old powered Sony 10" sub, I was in heaven. If you aren't looking to break the bank on speakers, and want something to make you smile when watching the latest Star Wars release, I highly recommend you look at these Towers paired with the S83 Center and a sub of your choosing. Klipsch bought the Jamo brand for a reason...must have been something they liked right? ... show more

I am running a pioneer 9.1 elite receiver and these speakers sound amazing whether watching an atmos enabled movie or listening to music. Hard to find a better value for the price
