The chair construction is good and the effectiveness of the massage system works quite well. The only downside it is on the "short" side (even for the wife who is 5'3"). For both of us, our legs hang over the adge of the footrest; several inches for the wife and about 26" for me. The angle of the recline is not adjustable and you lean back quite a bit, which isn't so bad except for the fact the back is not high enough to support our heads/neck. The neck massaging mechanism is somewhat bulky, and the mechanisms can be painful against the skin and muscle tissue. We do not use the neck massage mechanism, thankfully it is easy to remove and use the chair without it. The back massage mechanisms work great. As my wife tends to be more tender than I, she places a thin blanket or towel over the chair and that provides enough buffer for her comfort. Me, I like hard massages so I do not use extra padding. The massaging features are great; good deep tissue massage, the kneading and thumping options offer a great contrast. It is a tad short so that it doesn't get my upper back well, but if I select only the upper back and scrunch down a little it does get those otherwise hard to reach upper back areas. All in all, I really like the massage chair, and all the various features and functions...very good quality in my opinion Again, the downside is it is a little short (for moderately normal to tall individuals) and the inability to adjust the recline does not make for comfortable long term sitting. So mostly it sits in the corner of the living room taking up space when not being used, as it doesn't provide comfortable casual living room seating. Still we are happy we purchased it. ... show more

I was excited to get this chair as my back has been bothering me. It's painful using the massage feature because the material is SOOOO thin you feel the hard rollers right against your back, I will have to add a piece of foam to be able to use it. The chair is very low to the ground and if you have the foot rest up it's almost impossible to get out of the chair . The foot rest has a few positions so it's gets higher and higher, in order for it to go down you have to lift your legs up in the air, off the foot rest to raise the foot rest up one more position to release it to go down. The chair is a wonderful concept however if you had of added about $50.00 worth of comfort and more thought on making the chair available for all ages and not just 20 year old and below. PS the head massager has nothing to hold it in place and slides down not to mention it was so painful and hard I put it away in the closet. Put more money into your product. Also I'm 5'4 and my feet hang over. Great for dorms, kids room, teenagers room. ... show more

This chair arrived even before I was expecting it. I found it easy to assemble and it is a nice looking piece. The massage feature works very well, but I was expecting it to do back and legs, and it does not do legs. It sits very low to the floor too, more low than I expected. I marked it down a star because the massage feature really needs more padding to be truly comfortable. I fixed it with a towel covering, but it was almost brutal until I added this padding. Service is 5 stars. Box came damaged and seller was helpful in making it right. Now to the product... I was impressed with the quality of the chair. It was fairly easy to put together. There was one part of the chair where the piece of wood that goes on the front of the chair (under the leg where the knee bends) could be redesigned so that it is better secured. I am 5’4” and with the chair fully extended, my feet hang over. I found the chair too low, think of it like a lounge/beach chair design. I got this chair because of my bad back so it is hard for me to sit down or get up. The massage itself is great but I did have to put a thick blanket under me. I cannot take hard massages so that was my fix. I believe if the chair was designed a little higher there will be enough room to extend the legs making it more comfortable. Overall, it is a good looking chair for a massage. If this is your price range, this will fit the bill. ... show more

I love this massager chair. After a lot of research and comparison .I decided to buy this recline massager chair. Because this chair is simple and modern design unlike other traditional massager chair so bulky . It comes in a big box and the instructions is easy and clear to read. Doesn't require a lot of job to set it up. It is extremely comfortable. It is just like having a professional masseuse in my house. This chair has many features to choose from. You can choose full body massage or upper and lower back and your neck, and vibrating and heated function. This chair is not for weak. It's really strong and powerful. It will give your back serious massage. At the first time I tried it . It almost make me cry. But it really helps me to loosen my body and improve mobility. After a few try . when my body get used to strength . I feel much more comfortable and relaxing especially When you feel tried and have stress day. The quality of the material that used for the chair is very good too. The body is made with nice fabric and the stand is solid maple wood . That mades it very fashion looking and very sturdy. I am 6ft and 180 LB. I has no problem to sit on it and rock with it . The footrest is foldable . I has been falling sleep on the chair couple nights already . It is just as comfy as my bed. LOL .
