Whoever said this chair isn’t firm is not telling the truth. It definitely had a smell when unpacking but that went away within a few hours to a day. It doesn’t have regular back support because it’s a lounge chair, more so for lying in. Overall I love it, it’s t comfy, firm and big. And soft If u are looking for back support then buy a sofa with wood or metal structure.

It's more like 4.5 outta 5.... Overall it's really nice and comfortable and I like that there are no moving parts or anything other than foam.... Nothing can be broken. The head area is the only iffy thing. It's not comfortable to sleep in with the pillows that come with it .. I bought two memory foam pillows and after that it's super comfortable to sleep on big time.

This has become my favorite place to sit in my sunroom! I would buy repeatedly!!! It is not joking when it says to not stand over it when cutting open, I almost did the splits. Be careful of that aspect, but otherwise one of my favorite purchases ever. It is extremely comfortable and just needs to open with no assembly.

Everyone's needs are different, but it's perfect for my TV room. It came as advertised...just unbox it, unwrap it, and give it space to expand. I find it quite comfortable in terms of relative firmness/softness, but it may be too firm for some tastes. If I had a gripe, I wish that it was a tad longer, so I can stretch on out (I'm about 5'9), but I love it, and my downtime is largely spent chillin' in it. Suits my needs perfectly. Note...unwrap it close to where you intend to place it. It's not hard to move on a smooth floor, but if you have to move it across carpet, that could be an issue.

Great chair! Very comfortable and spacious! Just the right amount of firmness. Color is also very nice and true to pictures. Very heavy in its box wrapped so just have a few people to carry it inside. When opening be sure to follow instructions of laying it flat before opening the vacuum sealed back. There is a layer of shrink wrap around the whole thing so remove that first by peeling it away to not risk scissors cutting open the bag. Once the shrink wrap is off, then it truly lays flat. I felt it took its shape very quickly!
