  • **Great Quality for 3D Printing Projects!**
Color: 1kg White
I’ve been using the OVERTURE PLA Filament 1.75mm for my 3D printing projects, and I’m really impressed with the quality! It’s easy to use, and the prints come out smooth with a great finish. The filament flows well and adheres nicely to the print bed without any issues. I’ve used it for a variety of models, from small parts to larger objects, and it works perfectly every time. The colors are vibrant and look fantastic once printed. If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality PLA filament for your 3D printer, I definitely recommend giving OVERTURE a try. It’s affordable and gives excellent results! ... show more

  • Works great for basic printing
Color: 1kg White
I'm a low-tech 3d printing novice. I have a Lotmaxx Shark open-air printer. This filament works very well with my printer. I mostly use it to print jigs and clamps for woodworking and CNC work. The pieces are tough and do what I need them to do very well. My daughter likes old tech and wanted a cassette tape case for Christmas. I designed the racks for cassette tapes to go in a wooden cabinet, and used this filament to print them. They came out really nice...no warping, very square, and nice smooth lines. I'm very happy with the ease of use and cost of this filament. My printer lives in my basement in Missouri, so humidity is a fact of life. I would probably benefit from keeping this filament in a sealed bag when not in use, but to be honest I've left it on the printer for months at a time and it just keeps working perfectly. The seller packages the filament very well and ships promptly. Five stars! ... show more

  • It's Amazing
Color: 1kg White
I switched from ABS to PLA, and this is my first time trying PLA. I love the printing quality and I'm getting less failed prints (don't know if it's because of the brand or because it's PLA). But the filament is cut in some places. I try to print something, and i come back to find the printer not printing because the filament was cut off. It's not a huge big problem, but it is getting on my way. I will order again because I've never had this problem with their ABS filament, I hope the second one won't be like this, and this was just a faulty one. Update: I haven't had any more cuts so fat, and I have never had a failed print. Not a single one. I am so satisfied with this product :) ... show more

  • Great quality for the price
Color: 1kg White
I used this tonight and the quality is great. No stringing. Adhesion is great but I always use a glue stick just in case. Color is bright. Good buy!

  • Not bad but a little room to improve
Color: 1kg White
I recently purchased the OVERTURE PLA Filament 1.75mm for my 3D printer and was a bit disappointed with the first part of the filament. It was brittle and broke off, making it difficult to start the printing process. However, once I got into the spool, the rest of the filament worked well and produced quality prints. One downside of this product is that it comes on a cardboard spool which I personally don't like as they can easily bend and get deformed during shipping. Unfortunately, this was the case with my spool as well. Despite these small issues, the price of the OVERTURE PLA Filament 1.75mm was very good and provided great value for the quality of the product. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option for 3D printing, this filament is worth considering. ... show more

  • A good PLA filament for the price
Color: 1kg White
I like testing different PLA filaments for my printer. This brand does well with prints; unlike some, the color you see is what you get. It holds up well. However, like most PLA, it's temp sensitive. It warps if you're making something that goes in the dishwasher or sits in the sun. Be aware. Otherwise, some models' color and printed object come out well. ... show more

  • Hit and miss on how they spool their filament.
Color: 1kg White
I used to be an Overture cheerleader. I started 3D printing about 3 years ago during the pandemic and really enjoyed it. After experimenting with several different PLA’s, I decided for the price and quality, I was going to use Overture for my everyday, main workhorse filament. Then about 10 months ago, things began to change. I will frequently let larger prints run all night while I’m asleep. As I’m sure most of you do as well. I noticed the first incident after I woke up to find my printer with a nearly full roll of filament, but nothing was coming out of the nozzle. The first half inch of the print was fine, then it just started printing nothing. I began troubleshooting. I checked my temperature. Fine. I immediately put a brand new nozzle on the hotend. I checked the gears to make sure nothing was obstructed. Everything seemed fine, so I reinserted the filament and started again. This time, it printed nothing. No first layer, no movement from the spool, nothing. Then I examined the spool. The filament was wrapped in a knot! It had basically stopped the entire process because the spool wouldn’t release any filament into the extruder! I’d never seen this happen before and thought it must have been a fluke. I had to unravel the entire spool to get to the knot which was down near where the filament is actually wound into the spool. Then I had to respool it by hand, since I don’t have a spoiler machine. Took forever. I contacted Overture 3 times and received no response. I contacted them here as well as their official Facebook group. I never received any response. I just chalked it up to a bad spool and bought some more filament when I needed it. Out of the next 4 spools I bought, 2 had the same problem. I decided to take pictures and contact Overture again. I contacted them on Amazon and I blew up their facebook group and posted all the pics. It turns out I wasn’t alone. Several other people reported having the exact same problem with the exact same result. And we all got the same response from Overture: Silence. Needless to say, I don’t buy from them anymore. ZIRO has become my go to filament. I think it’s higher quality and the colors are more vibrant. Plus they offer some rather unique styles of PLA and always send you freebies, like filament vacuum bags for storage. Sorry Overture. It’s not like I didn’t give you a chance. ... show more
