  • This is good quality filament but the color was a little deceptive.
Color: Red
I ordered a roll of red filament. I understand that the picture showed that it was a brighter red, not a darker red, but I did not expect it to be quite this shade. It's more orange than red. I have Home Depot buckets near my 3D printer and the colors look very similar. Not that it's a huge problem because the project I bought this roll for is going to be painted anyways. But the most important thing to review is the overall quality that you can get with this filament. Some filaments are cheap to buy, and difficult to work with. And some filaments are not cheap to buy and still difficult to work with. This is a filament that I have no regrets in spending $20 on. The other rolls of filament that I have used, from other companies, have given me issues like warping, leaving a bunch of strings, and potentially even bubbling up in certain areas of the print, resulting in bald spots. With this filament, I feel like this is one of the cleanest prints we have had so far. I will definitely be ordering this brand of filament again! But again, just be mindful that the colors you pick, maybe a different color in person than in the photo. ... show more

  • Decent PLA but has gone up in price
Color: Black 1-pack
I have used this PLA since I first got my Ender 3 and have had bed adhesion issues. I personally do not care too much, I just use a glue stick. Otherwise, the print quality is solid. I have printed quite a few machine parts with it, and they work fine. I have had a few fails, but nothing that tweaking the slicer settings did not fix, most of the failures occur when the first layer would not stick to the printer bed. I thought the price point was amazing, 15-16 per roll. It is now 20-21 per roll, which had me looking for alternatives. Sadly the cheaper alternatives had terrible print quality, so I am switching back to Overture. A lot of people dislike the cardboard spools, but thats one of my favorite things about the packaging. I am not a fan of wasting tens of plastic spools. Overall, as long as their price does not increase more, I will continue buying my PLA from them. ... show more

  • Best filament I’ve found !!
Color: White 1-pack
I my so glad that this was the first brand of filament I bought. It worked perfectly from the moment I started using it. No issues… I thought all filaments/ brands was the same but I was so wrong !! I bought two rolls of SunLu brand and I swear I couldn’t get either one to print past the first layer before it made my printers extruder start popping and clogging up !! No matter what I changed , cleaned , done everything I could think of but nothing worked !! I thought it was just SunLu so I bought a roll of Anycubic filament and it done the same thing !!!! But as soon as I went back to Overture , my printer and my prints worked perfectly!!!I’ve bought 4 rolls of Overture and everyone of them worked like it’s supposed to! I don’t understand what’s different in this brand but I’ll never use any other brand again !! Cause of this I have to rate this 10/10 !! Thanks Overture you brought me back to liking 3D printing again.. ... show more

  • Not as good as Overture blue but still great.
Color: White 1-pack
I’ve been using the blue filament from overture for awhile because it works flawlessly on my Ender 3 V2. But I needed to print some white things. At first my prints with the white were coming out like spaghetti. Finally figured out why: 1) Lighter colors can print at a slightly lower nozzle heat. Blue I do 200, white I do 195. 2) The blue adhesion is amazing to my stock bed plate without any prep. The white I spray the plate with hairspray (I’m sure glue sticks work as well) and then works. I would give the white a 4.5 because it’s not as error proof as the blue not quite as detailed, but after the two tweaks mentioned above it’s printing great. ... show more

  • Great Quality, Glows Really Bright and Long - Printed on lower heat to reduce stringing
Color: Green (Glow in Dark)
After watching a CNC Kitchen review suggesting this was one of the top brands, I decided to give it a try. I printed a 4mm thick rectangle with half the filament Hatchbox (top) and half the filament Overture (bottom). The glow was stronger and lasted longer than the Hatchbox. It is also less see-through. Not included in this photo, but I tried a few other glow-in-the-dark colors too. This worked out the best as far as final product. That being said, it did require a bit more tweaking of settings than some other filaments. I ended up having the most success with about 10c lower printing temp than most of the other PLA. I try to keep infill at a minimum, and perimeter walls 3+ mm thick. That way you can't see through it ... show more

  • Works great, slightly shiny
Color: Space Gray 2-pack
Was printing out a dice tower for gaming purposes, this grey happened to be on sale. It printed nice and smooth, with minimal cross section lines. Only thing I will say, the filament prints with a slight sheen, only really noticeable if you're not planning on painting. So if you are looking for a matte finish don't use, but otherwise, fantastic product. ... show more

  • Adhesion, maybe not your bed leveling
Color: Light Gray (2-pack)
Price was decent, adhesion seemed a bit problematic on my ender 3 pro at first, wasted a lot of hours trying to fix it by endless bed leveling. Eventually I just threw some of my kids elmers purple stick paste on the magnetic bed and haven't really had problems since. Its mostly invisible after drying, though you can just wash it off the bottom of your print after, it turns purple again in hot water so its easy to see and rub off. The bed cleans the same way, though I stopped removing the magnetic bed every print, washing it and reapplying the paste. If you just leave it on the bed it doesn't affect quality that I can see and it helps the adhesion for several prints. Some reviews noted clogs, my go to is 200C nozzle temp and I haven't had a single clog going through 4 spools. I use mainly 0.4mm and 0.6mm nozzles. Maybe 0.2mm nozzle have the problems? Some reviews noted it being brittle. Mine have always come vacuum sealed and I've never had any breakage during a print or loading. Anyway, great product, not too pricey for two KG's, just go to your junk drawer and grab your kids unused school supply paste from the last 5 years and get printing. ... show more
