Got this to decorate for Halloween of a "Poe Corner" in my family room, using items that represented his stories. Easy to put together and take apart. What I did was cut small pieces of Velcro to attach to the back brace and to the back of the photo part which made it easier to take it apart to pack away in storage. The photo of Poe is very good and with the Raven on his shoulder makes it more fun to use for Halloween decor. ... show more

This stand-up is a great piece for a holiday party, or just to scare anyone that comes through the door. He's very durable. Unfortunately, we're not sure what to do with him now that his events are over. I think he'll come out for every Halloween now, I suppose.

    • Love my Poe!
I teach middle school and our first unit is Horror. My classroom is decorated with lanterns, candles, flickering lights, black tablecloths, and Poe! It is great and the kids love it! Every day Poe is in a different area of the room watching the students work. The cardboard stand on the back has taken some abuse and I may need to reinforce it soon, so Poe can stand without falling. Poe loves different holidays and likes to wear a scarf or Santa hat.
