This is my second roll of PLA purchased from Overture, and my second Silk finish roll as well. I first purchased the silk blue and adored how it looked. I ended up curiously wandering back to Amazon to look into the other Silk colors Overture offers and fell in love with the vibrancy of the neon green. It’s just as vibrant and beautiful in person, which is a huge plus since you never really know how something is going to look until you actually receive it. I use a pretty typical 0.4 nozzle size with mostly default settings on my Neptune 3 Pro, and this filament does an awesome job. Doesn’t clog, extrudes like a dream. I’m still an amateur to printing but I’m so glad to experiment with printing and learning more about my hobby without having to fight a tricky filament. Definitely worth buying! I got a request from my 5 year old Granddaughter. Seems she really wants a toy Alligator or Crocodile for her birthday. I found a great funny looking articulated crocodile and needed some cool green Silk filament to print it from. I just started printing with this Overature Silk PLA filament and it's working beautifully. 210 degrees on the nozzle and 70 on the bed and it's sticking to my PEI plate beautifully (with some MagiGoo)), not a bit of stringing and it looks great. This Croc is taking up my whole print bed so I've got another 13 hours of printing.....but it's going to look just as beautiful as a Crocodile can look. Very happy with the filament. ... show more

Been using Overture PLA for years now and I have no reason to change. I've tried a few other brands over the years but I never make it halfway through a roll before I give up and go back to Overture. Purchased single spools of Space Grey prior and ended up purchasing a double-spool since it was cheaper. However, the double-spool had mixed quality spools even though both were vacuum sealed. Printed using a Bambu Lab printer and the first spool printed using the same profile as the prior spools. However, had adhesion/extrusion issues with the second spool. After some calibration testing, discovered there was a major difference with the pressure advance and flow rate. Once adjusted, it printed fine afterwards. ... show more
