They last so long. These were great to have on cold nights. They are very small but still worked to contain heat in places other than my hands. When I felt it had cooled down I would give a little shake and it would get right back to doing it’s job. I actually thought about them one morning when I went to get in my car and was rushing off before it could get warm enough. These would have been great to have in that moment and during random outings the kids and I go on. I will be putting them in there and will continue to buy them in the future. I also ordered a larger size that’s supposed to be for the body but they don’t appear to be too much bigger than the hands pack so I haven’t bothered opening the package and will probably return them if I can and see if an even bigger size is available if I need body ones in the future. ... show more

I drive a school bus. I put one in each vest pocket in bitter cold weather. That way if my hands get cold they quickly warm up. These are the best. The “OTHER brand” doesn’t last more than 4-5 hours. Perfect for keeping warm if you’re plowing the driveway or hiking in cold weather too.

At first I thought I got a bad batch, however I found out that you must put them in a pocket or some place (not out in the open) for them to heat up… then wow, are they wonderfully warm, hot even! I’ve never used them for over 7-8 hours but they stayed warm the time I used them!

I use these in my mittens while working late-season farmers' markets. My boots have a little extra room at the toes so I put one in each. I do the same for winter sports so I can be out all day. I also keep some packets in my vehicle emergency kit (thankfully, I've never had to use them).

I was surprised how warm they got and how long they stayed warm. At first they don’t seem that warm (like within 30 mins). But then they really heat up if you keep shaking them. They were still warm 5 hours later!

As an avid backpacker and camper in Maine I always have these Hot Hands with me. Even in July we get nights down into the 40’s and I like to be warm. When it is rainy these are a blessing. During the colder months I will activate a pair of these just before getting into my sleeping bag to make for a toasty night of sleep. In the morning they are still warm and I put them in my sweatshirt pockets in case my hands get chilly while I make coffee and breakfast. I know these work well so I don’t take chances with any other brand. I don’t want me or my kids being uncomfortable because I tried something new ... show more
