This filament was so easy to use it was silly. Rendered perfect lineless satin walls and floors without extra finishing. With the settings I chose on a glass bed this did overhangs, threads, and details like a ninja. Print was crisp and accurate. This filament does not like extraneous heat. Do not use this anywhere it will get hot as it will deform. If you want a paintable model this is the filament to use. Will accurately print tiny bolt heads under 2mm with a .4 nozzle. Was crazy accurate and did print to fit parts even in the low resolution setting. On a glass bed I used glue stick and the following settings. Print settings In Cura 30mm Print speed 100mm Transit Speed 205 Nozzle 55 Bed 4 Wall Layers .28 Resolution In Ender 3 105% Feed Rate 22% Cooling Flow 18

I recently purchased the OVERTURE PLA Filament 1.75mm for my 3D printer and was a bit disappointed with the first part of the filament. It was brittle and broke off, making it difficult to start the printing process. However, once I got into the spool, the rest of the filament worked well and produced quality prints. One downside of this product is that it comes on a cardboard spool which I personally don't like as they can easily bend and get deformed during shipping. Unfortunately, this was the case with my spool as well. Despite these small issues, the price of the OVERTURE PLA Filament 1.75mm was very good and provided great value for the quality of the product. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option for 3D printing, this filament is worth considering.

They definitely changed their recipe. It still prints the same as far as I can tell. If you are in a ventilated space then this doesn't matter to you. But I was printing with a older roll of overture and it had no odor. I bought a new roll (old one was plastic spool, new one is cardboard, don't know if that's anything that matters) and now when I print with overture filament it smells like old playdough. Wierd odor.

The Space Grey will not stick to my flexible pei build plate. Tried to fine tune everything but having spent half a roll ajusting I gave up. This happened on two different printers, both with 0.8 mm nozzles. UPDATE: I managed to finish a print with a large footprint. The surface finish is gorgeous. Might be worth the trouble for high quality prints. If it has a small footprint do add a raft for safety.

This has become one of my favorite brands for pla. Stringing can be a challenge, but once your retraction settings are dialed in its no problem. Seems to like to be ran on the hotter side on my printer. No real complaints so far. So happy with this, I've bought many more colors since.

I wrote this same review for the red filament, so here it goes again. I have purchased 6 rolls of Overture filament in four different colors because they work so well. They adhere well to the print bed but release fairly easily. Quality of the prints is as good or better than other brands. Some of the other brands I have used stuck to the print bed as if they had been glued and I had to use a hammer to free them. I will continue to purchase Overture filament.

I bought 3 black 1kg rolls. They all shipped well; cardboard reel was not damaged. It could print flawlessly directly on the glass bed on my Ender 3 V2 with the stock Cura profile. Print quality is very similar to filament from Creality and MatterHackers (MH Build and MH Build PRO) It doesn't taste very good though. Some of the lowest-rated comments I've seen so far are related to the filament tangling. I have not run into this issue because it generally doesn't happen when the filament is always taut, either by being loaded into the printer or by jamming the end of the filament through two of the small outer holes.

Overture PLA is my go-to brand for filament. I can always count on it for consistent results on my Ender 3. It is sturdy, easy to dial in, and gives consistent results. Cura's settings for "generic PLA" have always worked well for me, though some prints need to be slowed down for a good first layer. I will say that there was a time I considered switching away from Overture, but it was purely a price point:quality debate. When I went to check on the brands of similar quality, Overture had lowered their price to the competition, so I stayed! (Acrylic primer gets along very well with Overture PLA. I would always suggest priming before painting.)
