I only buy the black rolls of filament and after roughly 30 rolls, I haven't had too many issues. I've had to return one roll because it was tangled on the spool, but that was over a year ago. I do find that it has some trouble adhering to my glass bed no matter what temps I use on either the nozzle or the bed. For me, a light coat of hairspray on the glass works just fine. I don't have any clogs as others have reported, but I could just be lucky, or it could be because I don't buy any of the colored filament. I'll continue buying this until I start having problems. For me, the price is very reasonable and usually arrives at my house in 2 days.

I've run this filament since I got my Bambu X1C, which was recommended by many on Reddit. It's proved to be very reliable. I've done a straight 24-hour print twice in the last month, creating multiple pieces, and not even once did the spool get stuck or cause spaghetti issues. The only time I had the spaghetti issue was when I was playing around with the ludicrous mode, which I still need to fine-tune the settings. Otherwise, the prints come out beautifully in normal and even in sport mode (as long as they don't involve a ton of complex geometry). Even when using the extra draft mode in X1C, the prints still come out better than most older or cheaper 3D printers I've had in the past. I rarely need to go beyond normal or strength mode, as the finish is beautiful enough, and sometimes, the surface is hard to tell it was 3D printed without looking at it close. At least with the Bambu, I'd say this is the best. I know you're not supposed to use the cardboard shell like this, but I've had no issues throwing it in the spool and using it usually. Excellent adhesion and print quality!

I have been using Overture PLA filament exclusively for a while now. Why do you ask? First of all, each spool comes with a small ruler (very handy for rough measurements while rough drafting parts in CAD Second, the build surface they include is TOPS. The adhesive they use on it does sometimes stick to my glass bed, but a quick spritz of Isopropyl alcohol and it comes right off. The bed adhesion of these build surfaces are insane. So insane that if I print anything flat on the bed that is over 8cm, I have to peel the build surface off to get my part to come off. Sad, because Overture does not sell their build surfaces separately. Third, the dimensional accuracy is spot on. I test my spools randomly and have never seen it out of spec. My gripe about this Pla is that it can be a little difficult to get a good first layer if you haven't been using this stuff before. I have to print my first layer at 195C to not have waves or inconsistencies in my print. Just dial in your settings and this PLA will do you no wrong. Please Overture, sell your 20cmx20cm build surfaces! I need more!

I was worried about the large part I was about to print, 21 hours, which consumed 98% of the spool of this dual spool pack (2 lbs each), but, the process went wonderfully well. The finished large part, had even color, smooth, and is strong. There is no "splay" the white foggy look of micro bubble or moisture trapped in the molten plastic, none of that. Although, not cheap, on the projects that I need the machine to not have any issues with the plastic, I will count on this. I am just about to order a full spectrum of colors now, instead of just flat black. This might seem minor, but the spool is wound up evenly, not all birds-nested, so the machine doesn't need to fight to unspool it. I am sold now. Thank you.

Like Hatchbox? Good. Me too. That stuff is amazingly consistent. This stuff isn't. I was printing Facemask ear protectors with Hatchbox PLA on my Ender 3 with a Glass bed and making 50 a day for my Nurse friends. Hatchbox was running out. Found this PLA and it had some decent reviews. Bought it. Swapped out PLA and ran same Gcode for protectors. Failed adhesion... poor distribution. Issues. Issues. Issues. After 2 hours of playing with settings and releveling the bed. I gave up. Fast forward 2 weeks. Decide to print some Benchies. Failed adhesion on first layer. Issues. Issues. Issues. Change some settings. OH WOW. ONE OF THEM WORKED!? I print another with settings for higher quality. OH WOW ANOTHER WORKED. I might have found the secret to getting this PLA to work like hatchbox! Try for a 3rd benchy... Failed Adhesion. Issues. Issues. Issues. After 3 hours of playing with settings, reverting to the original Gcode of the ones that worked... I've come to see that this PLA is as the other critical reviews have stated. Brittle, under density and inconsistent. Maybe you'll be lucky and get a good roll. I do not recommend this brand.
