  • Low Drama PETG
Color: White (2-pack) Size: 2kg
PETG has a reputation for being prone to stringing and being a bit difficult to print with compared to PLA. I find this brand to be very easy to work with, almost as good as PLA from Sunlu. I'm about halfway through a spool of both black and white filaments and will likely re-order this brand.

  • good stuff
Color: Black (2-pack) Size: 2kg
Overture is quality in my experience. I rarely have issues with their filament. I would like to explore other filament options sometime when I get back into printing, but if you are new to printing and just want to be sure you have good filament, try this

  • Comes pretty wet get a dryer and dry it!
Color: Black (2-pack) Size: 2kg
This is good filament but it is WET! I was running into so many problems with it, stinging zits, blobs, no clogging or jamming thankfully even after I had put it in my oven to dry turning it... well I ended up buying an actual filament dryer which also has a humidity gauge and low and behold every other filament that I've dried PETG, ASA, PLA, GF, CF has all been around 14-15% humidity in the chamber, when drying this overture filament it rose up to 35% humidity and stayed there for about 4 hours before beginning fall. I'd open the lid to rotate the spool and the meter would fall and then rise when lid closed so I know it works. If you get your temps right and you print this stuff slow it does pretty good so all in all and happy about it I do give it a four because of you know how wet it was when sealed up with desiccant bags. ... show more

  • "NEW IMPROVED FORMULA" print speed rating is 1/10th the "old formula" - BAIT AND SWITCH JUNK!
Color: Black (2-pack) Size: 2kg
I have been printing OVERTURE brand filament (PETG, PLA PRO, TPU) for years and have been very pleased with all of it until this garbage. I purchased a roll of black PETG several months ago that was the "old" formula. Printed perfect. Had a glossy finish. Spool said print speed <300mm/sec. This week I ordered a 2 pack of the same black PETG. They shipped me the "new improved" formula with the new spool label. It has a matt finish and the label says print speed is 30-50mm/sec. How is it "improved" if the print speed it 1/10th of the "old" formula? I started a long print and it turned out like garbage. Dull finish, lots of clumping, stringing and whiskers everywhere. Gonna request a refund and never order OVERTURE again. ... show more

  • Works Fine.
Color: Light Grey (2-pack) Size: 2kg
Edit: Ignore review below, The printer just happened to get a partial clog right as I switched rolls. Fixed the clog, ended up upgrading the hotend and nozzle, and the same 'new' rolls are coming out perfect. Mixed bag. Picked up a couple 2 packs of the Light Grey PETG about a month apart. All 4 spools were sufficiently dried before and during running. Dialed in a new slicer setup with Spool 1, 1 & 2 came out showroom perfect. 3 was overly wet right out of the box, and went into the drier, along with 4. First piece printed was ~180g and was under-extruded everywhere, with lots of small stringing in the corners. Won't say I won't use them again, but I'll be looking at other brands first. ... show more

  • Great if you know how to print with PETG
Color: Black + Transparent Size: 2kg
I see several negative reviews from people who have purchased this as their first roll of PETG coming from PLA. In most of these cases, their problems have nothing to do with the brand of filament but are due to user error. Printing with PETG, while not especially difficult, is definitely not as straightforward as PLA. You can not expect it to be plug and play on most stock bowden drive machines. With a bowden drive, retraction settings and temperature will be critical for decent results. Fan settings are important too. And if you want best results you really should upgrade to direct drive for more precise retraction and an all metal hot end for better temperature control. Furthermore, a good first layer will set you up for success on the rest of your print, so a flat and level bed and/or auto bed level system goes a long way. This applies to all materials but especially PETG because it will string and blob like crazy if your nozzle drags over high spots on the bed. This is a just a basic overview but there is more to know. Refer to any of the numerous videos or articles about this if you need help optimizing your machine for PETG. Once you get it dialed in, PETG is in my opinion the most well rounded material with excellent strength, great temperature resistance, good printability, and minimal health hazards relative to other materials. Overture is no exception and I have had great success with their filament. TLDR: This is good quality and high value filament. Don't bash the brand if you don't have experience with printing PETG. This is good filament and your issues likely have nothing to do with the quality of their product. ... show more

  • Had an issue, quickly resolved
Color: Black + White Size: 2kg
I bought a 2 pack of PETG (one black spool, one white spool). Black had a small issue with adhesion at the start of the spool. It has since been running perfectly. White, very different outcome. Nothing but issues with adhesion. Not to the bed, to itself. Sides and corners were not adhering. Made tons of changes to the print file, slices, temps, speed, fan speed etc... Nothing would work. Swapped out nozzles for hardened steel, 4 and 6. Still, nothing but adhesion issues. Contacted (the wrong company at first lol) Overture and they quickly replaced the bad batch of white PETG. The day after it arrived, I used the original print files and the filament was off and running. First print was flawless (had hardly any cleanup, it came out that clean). I am still fairly new to this 3D printing stuff. But I am very impressed by Overture completely. Their material, and their awesome customer service! I will make great use of Overture filaments in my future 3d adventures... ... show more
