Fantastic stuff. I am already a fan of Overture because of their matte pla and how great things printed in it turn out. So I went with this and although I only print small stuff, I'm a big fan and this is my second roll of the green. I print tiny dino's to give out in a class I help with and these are huge with kids. The glow filament makes them a perfect example of what 3d printing can be. I also print a free T-Rex skeleton kit that you put together so that I have options for them to choose from as a small take-away from the class since printing take a bit longer than most 9 yr old's attention span. ... show more

Was able to make my co worker a glow in the dark pencil holder. I had no issues printing with this filament. It has a faint glow but for PLA not bad.

This stuff has a strange texture after printing. Unlike other glow PLA I’ve used, it comes out with a slightly foamy texture, a bit more brittle than others. It prints easily though, and so far hasn’t clogged. The glow is decent, above average even, but this yellow doesn’t glow as good as most plain green phosphorus based ones. Cardboard spool doesn’t work well in AMS. Overall quality is great, but it’s not substantially better than others for the price. For visual reference, the moon I attached is actively lit by an LED, the boat is in normal light, and the dragon is in the dark after charging with a powerful UV light. ... show more

TLDR; this Overture glow in the dark filament printed perfect straight from the package and with only a short time in room light maintained a glow at least 11 hours in total darkness. I bought this filament to print glow in the dark markers for furniture in a bedroom that gets -totally- dark at night. I was in a hurry to have the markers so after receiving this filament late in the day I printed two markers immediately after opening the box. The filament printed the simple print perfectly on my Bambu A1 mini using preloaded Overture PLA profile with 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle. After only a couple hours of room light to charge the markers, the markers still had a dim glow after 11 hours in a totally dark room. Ive used this fillament allot over the years and I keep coming back because it just works. Ive had zero issues with quality, stringing, jams, tangling you name it. It has a decent glow. Nothing crazy vibrant unless you hold a uv light directly to it but the glow subsides quickly and will level out at a noticeable accent glow which I find to be sufficient. From there ive found the glow remains for a decent period of time and to charge it back up is quick. Ive also found this fillament is quite durable. On the same levels that a PLA + would have. Its still PLA mind you but a moderately durable one at that. If I had to point out some issues it would the color. Not of the glow but the actual fillament. Its a milky translucent beigeie off white. Thats allot but the best way I can describe it. I so with this was a pure ivory white as printing glowing eyes would SLAP! As the kids say. If used on eyes now its passable but depending on your infill or neighboring colors youll find they bleed through as the glow fillament is semi translucent. Lastly I so wish this was available in a refill spool. I primarily print on Bambu Labs machines using the AMS. On my X1, P1 and H2D units, the AMS will struggle greatly with the cardboard spool when it nears its end but on my A1 AMS this is not an issue.
