This is a very affordable mic considering it comes with an arm attachment too. The mic quality is good too. The only complaint most people have with cheap mics is the noise cancellation being faulty, but I really recommend installing SteelSeries Sonar and enabling their AI noise cancellation. That makes this mic comparable to much more expensive mics 2-5x its cost. Really most cheap mics in general can be fixed via good software, no need to blow your budget on one.     • Really Good Sound Quality
I can't begin to remember how many different microphones I ordered and tested. I read oodles and oodles of articles, information, and watched tons of video reviews in an attempt to narrow my search. In the end, one of the microphones I chose was the Ovedisa usb mic. Although I won't name one of the other microphones I settled on, it's much more expensive than this Ovedisa microphone, yet the sound quality of the Ovedisa seems to be quite a bit better than the more expensive microphone. I feel that it's really important to note that this package includes the microphone, boom arm, necessary cable, shock mount, pop filter, windscreen for the microphone, and vise/clamp. The fact that this mic has such good sound quality AND it comes with all of the accessories you'll need is very good for the price. I'm using the mic for podcast guest purposes and it suites me just fine. The boom arm swings well, and the vise/clamp can be tightened quite a bit, so be sure that you don't tighten it so much that it leaves marks in your used surface. After comparing recorded audio with and without the pop filter, I can say that yes, there is a difference. Not only does the pop filter help with the p's, it also provides a smoother sounding audio track. Although I'm in the technology field, so setting up items like this is easy, for those who aren't comfortable with technology, this is a very easy set-up, no worries. I've had the mic since February 2023, and I've used it moderately. So far, so good. If things change, I'll update this review. The one thing I can say I wish this mic did have is a volume control and a headset input. I'm sure that there are those who need a much more expensive set-up, but for the average person, this package is a really good deal without sacrificing sound. ... show more

    • Impressive for what it costs
I'm not a Pro by any means, but I do have an accurate voice, and ears. Using the free WavPad recording program that is also available here on Amazon, the Ovedisa Mic surprised me. Especially if all you're doing is Talking. For Singing I feel the internal programming (output levels) are set on the "safe" side, but if you're running the sound through decent recording software, you can use the equalizer in the programming to match what comes out of your mouth accurately. The only issue I have with this "bundle" is the c-clamp type mount that they provide to hold the Mic-arm down to your desk. While the adjustable arm itself, and the Mic isolation-mount seem well made, that base-clamp will bend and loosen the first time you try to pull the Mic-arm towards yourself. My solution was to drill a hole in the desk, and drop the post directly into the desk with a couple of steel washers to protect the surface, and allow smooth rotation. The quality of your voice begins with you, whether talking, or singing. This Microphone, with slight adjustments in the recording program (for singing use) reproduces my voice accurately, as long as I do my part, and I have an extended vocal-range. For "Speaking" purposes, it is accurate as is, IMO. ... show more

    • Amazing budget mic
I use it for music production and gaming and it is better for both than all my friends fancy hyperx ones that cost 300. The clamp is crappy but if you are set on using it you can drill the cylinder a hole in your desk that is super secure and also very clean looking.

    • It doesn't seem to work the same in all computers
I bought this mic for my language learning apps, so I wanted great sound quality for speech recognition. I first plugged into my desktop and the results were terrible. I will need to yell at the mic to get any sound so I thought the mic was trash and I keep it only for the hardware. Much later I tried again and this time I plugged into one of those new minicomputers that I have in my bedroom and now I can talk in normal volume up to six feet (two meters) away from the mic and it works wonderfully. So probably doesn't work the same on all computers (or sound cards), and yes I did adjust the settings (I used to be an IT person), but no setting will make it work on the first computer., although I never tried to replace or upgrade drivers and things like that and the first computer must be around four years old. ... show more

I'm a gamer looking for a microphone and this caught my eye instantaneously. It was very easy to assemble and setup. Overall this has been amazing in my opinion!
