I got it for a trip to Europe since I planned to use my iPhone as my only camera, greatly increasing the odds I’d drop it, possibly off a boat or cliff. It would have received 5 stars but I didn’t like the ring at one end of the lanyard. But, that may have been my fault and maybe I wasn’t using it correctly. I just swapped out a different lanyard and love it. All my traveling companions bought them for the trip and I’ve had several people ask where I got it since. Simple but ingenious idea. Well worth the money, you get four! Since it goes on under the case, it’s not just the adhesive securing your phone, its the adhesive AND your phone case. Very secure. I really like the sturdier build on the adhesive patch it’s really strong. Some people don’t use the adhesive but I don’t think that’s a great idea. If someone is going to pickpocket your phone, you shouldn’t make it easier. I’ve accidentally tugged hard and no problem. I bought it for European travel, clipping it to my cross body bag. i do not adhere these to anywhere not do i use the provided bungy chords. I simply put it in between the phone and the case and it holds itself in on its own and attach it to a lanyard looped to my purse strap. i suppose adhesion would be useful if you weren't to use a case at all. THat being said, this product is a life/stress saver for me, especially someone who is chronically in fear of misplacing my phone, in the car or at a theme park (when i can't find my phone at home, and that's A LOT, i just ask my Alexa to find it!) or in a store. I bought this for my sis who loses her phone constantly. Since there were 2, I added one to my phone too. It makes it easier to grab out of my pockets and pocketbook and it hangs on my wrist as I grocery shop with my Alexa shopping list open. My sis removed hers. Go figure!
