It’s the second time I order this toy because my 54lbs Siberian Husky LOVES IT, also make sure you order some replacements of squirrels. My baby after taking all the squirrels out of the tree literally goes and give one squirrel to my man, one to my child, one to me and she keeps another one. Then picks them up from us one by one to lay in her bed while placing them as they are her puppies (as far as she gets bored and breaks them to find out what’s that provoking the noise inside of them). ITS SO CUTE!!! Btw, visitor that comes, visitor that is welcomed by the squirrels since my dog feels the necessity to introduce them as well, putting them on their lap as fast as they sit down lol ... show more

  • Cute Little Squirrels!
Size: Replacement Animals Style: Squirrel Pattern Name: Dog Toys
I bought my chihuahua the Outward Hound Tree with the squirrels inside of it about 6 years ago - and she just loves the little squirrels - so I ended up buying her the slightly larger squirrels and she also loves there! She loves to throw them with her mouth and play fetch with herself - or she also loves to being them to me and have me throw them as far across the house as I can to retrieve them and bring them back. She eventually will tear them apart to “kill” the squeakers - but they are worth the price point and the enjoyment she has with them. ... show more

  • Big toy for a big boy
Size: XL Style: Squirrel Pattern Name: Dog Toys
My dog loves this toy and carries it all over the house. He doesn’t destroy toys, just likes to carry them. I bought this because we had a similar milk & cookies toy and he couldn’t get the cookies out because his snout was too big. He can get the squirrels if he wanted to, but he hasn’t tried yet. Have had it for a few weeks. My little dogs like the little squirrels inside. ... show more

  • Doggie approved toy
Size: XL Style: Squirrel Pattern Name: Dog Toys
My dog absolutely went nuts when she got this toy. She grabbed it and started shaking it. Little critters came flying out but some remained inside that she then snuffed out. She loves squeaky toys and each of the little chipmunks (sorry they don't look like squirrels to me) has a squeaker so it is heaven to her. They have stood up to a lot of shaking and chewing so far, but she has a soft bite. If you have a pitbull or other dog that has a strong bite this toy may not last long. For our furbaby it is a great toy and worth the purchase. ... show more

  • Noise Maker that Makes Smiles
Size: XL Style: Squirrel Pattern Name: Dog Toys
This toy is not really a toy to keep a dog’s mind sharp but it’s fun. My Boston Terrier is not a chewer so this works. My Boxer would have torn it apart though. I hide kibbles in the stump and stick the squirrels in the holes. She doesn’t exactly pull the squirrels out but somehow she manages to get the kibbles by knocking the stump around and out the kibbles drop. Her face is small enough that sometimes she sticks her face in a hole to get the kibbles. She is motivated by food so this doesn’t bore her. I also love squeaking the 6 squirrels and driving her crazy. She wants them all but can’t get 6 squeaking squirrels at once 😂😵💫. It’s great when hubby plays too because then we can play doggie in the middle and squeak squirrels that is even sure to drive a Westie crazy. Overall it’s big and bulky and my husband thinks “it looks stupid” and it’s not necessarily something every dog owner wants laying around on the floor but we are empty nesters and what makes her happy makes us happy. We have had this for 1 month. It’s still in good shape but my Boston doesn’t chew soft things like she dies the hard toys. ... show more

  • Our pup LOVES it

We have a 3 yo Corgi who loves to destroy fabric toys. This has turned our to be durable even though he plays with it daily. He loves to shake it to get the squirles out. I wish he'd learn to put them back in instead of bringing the empty tree stump back to me!! He has had it for about 4 months so don't know how long it will last ... show more

  • Tough Little Skwerls
Size: Replacement Animals Style: Squirrel Pattern Name: Dog Toys
I bought these at the same time as I bought the Kyjen Hide-A-Squirel toy as I have 3 dogs and I figured at least one of the squirrels would get lost pretty quick leaving the dogs to squabble over the other two reamining squirrels. Ironically, all three of these squirrels are still present and accounted for though they are showing a bit of wear at this point. They are also covered with dog spit but as they are dog toys that is to be expected. I have 2 medium sized dogs and one huge dog. Two of the dogs play with these toys EVERY DAY and after almost 3 months they squirrels are just now starting to show noticeable wear. My dogs love to dissect their toys and remove the squeaker. If I am on the ball I find the squeaker and tie it up in a couple of pairs of old socks and return it to the dogs. This solves two problems: 1. The dogs are unable to injest the squeker and 2. I no longer feel obligated to try to find the mates to those socks. The dogs also love the squeaky sock toys and wiill still play with the squeakerless squirrel toy carcasses so this is truly a win-win situation. At this point, 2 of the 6 total squirrels I ordered are sans squeaker. Three out of the six are showing any real wear. One out of the six total looks like new, probably because it has been under the dresser for the past two months. So, these squirrels are smart as well, or at least one out of six is of above average intelligence. Well played, Kyjen, well played. These toys and the Kyjen Hide-A-Squirrel toy were all a big hit with my dogs, even with the dog that could care less about them because when I throw a squirrel for the other dogs to fetch, the dog who doesn't play with the toys chases the dogs that are running after the toy and screws with the slower dog by latching onto one of his hind legs and making him fall down. So, these toys entertain the dogs that actually play with them, the dog that couldn't care less about them, and me. That's getting the most possible bang for your buck right there! This is the first time I bought any of Kyjen's products and I would absolutely buy Kyjen products again as well as reccomend them to my dog-owning friends. These are awesome toys. Yes, the squirrels are on the small side but I was expecting that as I actually took the time to read the product description before I ordered them. My dogs do not care that the squirrels are kind of small and I don't believe that the size of the toys has any impact on their durability or function. These are awesome dog toys. If you don't get them for your dogs you are not a fun person and it's highly likely that your dog pees on you as you sleep. I sure would. I mean I would if I were your dogs. Buy the damn toys already! *HERE'S MY REVIEW OF THE KYJEN HIDE-A-SQUIRREL TOY* This review is from: Kyjen PP01056 Hide-A-Squirrel Pet Toy, Large I have 2 medium sized dogs and one giant dog and two of them love these toys. The other one likes to play with other dogs much more than she does dog toys so I'm not really surprised that she isn't that into them. The wierd dog and the giant dog LOVE these toys and play with them daily. They have taken both the squirrels and the "tree trunk" outside, played tug-of-war with them and even buried them and the toys are still looking pretty good after a couple of months of rough, frequent play. Two of the squirrels are now without their squeakers as the giant dog loves to dissect them and remove the squeakers. This isn't a problem, I actually expected he would have removed all of the squeakers by now and I bought three additional squirrels because I really expected these toys to wear out much more quickly. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they are hanging in there. Of the six squirrels I ordered five are present and accounted for and the dogs play with all of them, even the ones giant dog has disemboweled. Yes, the squirrels are on the small side. I was not surprised by this as I took the time to read the complete product description. I don't know how well other larger dogs would like these toys, my giant dog is touched in the head but very smart and he loves them despite the size. I have never ordered Kyjen products before ordering this Hide-A-Squirrel toy and the replacement toys and I am thrilled that the toys are of such good qulaity and that my dogs are getting lots of "play" out of them. Even the one dog that doesn't like toys that much is entertained by them as she likes to chase the dogs that are playing with the toys and try to chew their legs off as they run. All my dogs are entertained and entertained dogs are dogs that are not running all over the neighborhood humping everything in sight or chewing holes in my socks. I would absolutely order Kyjen products again and I would order from this seller again. My items arrived one day before they were due and were packed appropriately. I would also reccommend both Kyjen and this seller to other dog owners and have already told my sister about these toys and how awesome they are. If I could give this product and this seller more than five stars I so would! ... show more

  • Perfect for gentle chewers who love to have fun
Size: Large Style: Squirrel Pattern Name: Dog Toys
My three dogs love this toy! They are not aggressive chewers, otherwise they would probably tear it part. Instead, they just gnaw on the little squirrels, loving the squeakers and playing keep-away from each other. They also love throwing the tree trunk around!
