The media could not be loaded. This bowl will definitely slow down eating. I ordered the medium/mini for my 24 pound terrier mix. The channel is very narrow and deep so it takes a small snout to get the food out. I am returning this and getting the next size up. The bowl is well made and doesn’t scoot around on the floor. My puppy usually inhales his food within 2 minutes. I used this for the first time and it took him at least 10 minutes to eat. So I definitely recommend it if you're in the same situation. 4/5 stars because it slides around the floor which can get messy. I personally hate that so I will find a mat or something to resolve the problem. If the bowl was heavier this would get 5 stars. ... show more

So happy I made the decision to get a slow feeder for my dogs. My puppy(2mo) was inhaling her food bowls down in 2 mins if even that long & was having issues with throwing up even after time to digest her food. My other pup(3y) was inhaling her food as well. This bowl definitely helps slow them down by a lot. The bowl doesn’t slide all over the place so that’s great. Medium was perfect for about 2 cups of food. My 1.5 yr. old dach/min pin x inhaled his food so I tried this bowl. He refused to eat from it for a few minutes but then took a few bites but did not finish his meal. Just the fact how my dog seemed to have an actual thought process how to eat from a strange bowl was nice compared to inhaling food with with such gusto to only vomit it all after. Finally the perfect food bowl to slow the roll of our food inhaling/regurgitating Pug. Makes for a fun puzzle that our Pug seems to really like. Takes him at least ten minutes to get the smaller sized kibble depending on how much they get spread out into the puzzle parts. He cannot flip the bowl due to the weight and diameter. I bought this brand for my medium dog (45-50 lbs) and it was great. Left it at the dog sitter's. This item popped into my feed and I thought, oh, there it is again! Let me just buy a replacement!
