Bought for my mom who is 5'6" and weights 115 lbs. It's perfect for here but I'm 6' and 245 lbs and it would be too tiny for me. Assembly was interesting, everything was straight forward other than having to bend the metal cross pieces that go under the bench- they arrive flat and they need to be in a light s shape. My brother panicked at seeing them, so this isn't a bench for people who aren't handy. One side was broken, the seller sent another bench for the replacement part, so great seller. It's fairly light weight but it also seems really solidly built. Recommend 5 ftlbs torque for all wood pieces and 7 ftlbs torque for metal on metal. ... show more

It is not a real garden chair but a toy. Very poor quality and flimsy. The back is plastic and the so called "hard wood" are very soft and will not last longer than 6 months. If you want to return and you have to pay the shipping by yourself. Do not waste your money on this trash.

Great outdoor bench. It's in the backyard and has sat in partial shade for awhile now. So far, it hasn't take much sun damage. It gets hit by the sprinklers and doesn't show damage from that either. No splinters on little legs. Holds a good amount of adult weight too.
