This gazebo is very well engineered. It looks good when assembled and seems to be very sturdy. We mounted it on a wooden floor constructed by placing treated 4X4's on a level gravel bed and then screwing 1 inch thick locally accessed white oak boards to them. The 4X4's are anchored into the ground using several two foot lengths of rebar driven into the ground. It takes two people to assemble. The instructions consist of drawings of each stage of assembly with no written instructions. This part is lacking. We spent a lot of time discussing and understanding each move before proceeding. Do this to avoid misunderstandings. If the installation information was better, this product would be perfect. Having said that, the end result justifies the extra effort.

This is for the 11X15 model. It does take time to install but with patience you can even tackle this most one your own. We had one damaged panel. I reached out to the seller here with the beam letter and they promptly replaced it. Great job seller! I had no missing parts. Assembly took time, but sure did turn out nice. I do question the snow load since I doubt this can even stand up to say a 200lbs person walking on it, however, others have indicated no issue with snow load. Majority of it is aluminum with the exception of the screws, feet, the top two upper steel metal panels, and some cross braces. Make sure to coat them inside and out with lanolin or cosmoline rust proofer. I even sprayed all the exposed steel screw heads with cosmoline. Hopefully we have many years or enjoyment and so do you.

So this Gazebo took me roughly ten hours to setup by myself. Due to the setup time I put this Gazebo at 4 stars instead of 5. I knew the setup for this was going to take a while but sheesh took up most of one day and partly of the second day. The results are so worth it though! This Gazebo is beautiful! I am so pleased that I went with the Polycarbonate Roof instead of a metal roof because you do get natural sunlight through the roof(not blinding, similar to wearing sunglasses) and its UV Protected. I would highly recommend this Gazebo but if you do, plan on a whole day just for the setup!

First, the so called instructions are a joke, just drawings with no order to install parts. Second, the kit was short 30 bolts but they added enough of another kind but they were ugly. Third, the bottom row of the roof didn't fit, all the angled pieces were an inch too long. Been working on this all weekend and I'm not finished because I have 8 panels I have to trim to fit. Fourth, the post mounts are a joke, I'm gunna have to beef them up or the wind will rip it right off my deck.Very disappointed with the quality of the posts, they seem pretty flimsy to me. Directions are pictures only. Assembly was difficult and took more than 8 hours total with 2 to 3 people (only because some parts did not line up appropriately). One small area took 3 hours. Must have a ladder. Finished product looks nice and seems sturdy. We have not tried in the rain. The curtains and netting are sturdy.

This is a very good product, good value and fairly sturdy. We havent had any windstorm or snowstorms (Buffalo, NY) yet so I hope it holds up. I read a lot of reviews before choosing this gazebo. Yes, the instructions are hard to understand but not that hard. I read all kinds of nightmares about building the unit. I am not a handyman, carpenter or Mr. Fixit but I can do easy stuff around the house. I built this gazebo in about 9 hours by myself. It took some pushing, pulling and tugging but it wasn't all that difficult. Hopefully this review will help some people looking for a decent gazebo without spending a fortune.

First you got to understand ordering something as big as a this online you'll have to deal with some inconveniences. For me FedEx did not want to take up my steps on to my porch to deliver so they would put delivery attempted. I had to pick it up myself. I still got over it since the previous gazebo I ordered on Amazon did not bring the roof parts. I admit when you first open the box it makes you skeptical. The previous gazebo I ordered was a steel frame so it was so much heavier. When I pulled the legs out they felt so much lighter that I thought it felt cheap. The frame is aluminum. The roof looks like a cardboard plexiglass. I thought Should I build it and find out that I don't like it? I still went on anyway because I really wanted to have a gazebo. When I started separating the roof sheets I got cut and realized it's really sharp and when it's not wrapped up it feels like a real type of glass. Now comes building it. I built this by myself with only help picking up the legs to make it stand. The frame isn't very hard but when you start building the roof you realize this should not be a one man job. Even with someone else's help it can be hard if they aren't used to building stuff and you'll likely need 2 ladders. After I got done I'm happy with the results. It is sturdier than it seems. So be patient when you open the box and grab piece by piece. I read that polycarbonate roof is the second best roof for a gazebo. Metal being worse because it rust. Aluminum being the best. But now that I know the trouble of building it, I would say it's worth saving yourself trouble if you can find a service that will build it for you. Other than that the gazebo is sturdy and perfect. And worth it. I'm happy it brings curtains too.
