  • Its practical
Color: Green Size: 9' x 4'
This shed is practical and economical. When the box arrived and I conducted an inventory, I noticed some of the panels were bent. I just straightened them out by hand. The entire project took me about 6-7 hours over a few days. I suggest having a partner but it can be done alone. There are some steps where two people make assembly much faster. I recommend not tightening fasteners up until you complete sections of the shed. I also ended up placing most of the washers on the outside because it seemed more practical. So look carefully. While installing the roof I had to drill some holes because the panels would not align. It wasn't difficult. I finished setting all the walls up and bought a treated plywood sheet for my base because I have pavers. I fastened it with self-taping screws and that works well for me. Lastly, save some time by taking off the protective plastic before you start putting it together. BTW, I installed a couple of 8-foot by 10-inch treated boards for shelving (see another review, great idea!). Make sure it fits through the opening first or you'll have to remove a panel to get it in. Annnd the last pic was my assistant. ... show more

  • Proof Engineering is dead
Color: Green Size: 9' x 4'
It gets one star because, once assembled, it is a spacious shed that meets HOA requirements. This is an overpriced example of horrible Chinese engineering and manufacturing. The instructions are incorrect: the very first step switches parts, the final flooring steps are ... at the end. By the way, I bought 2 of these and the instructions for one were a bit different than the other - mind boggling! Literally, the instructions guide the assembly of floor beams in such a way that the end result will not fit through the door of the already assembled shed! The instructions are very hard to interpret because the drawings are inadequate. The parts designation is harder to read than Arabic. The instructions don't give dimension for the wood needed to create the floor. Eventually, it seems to suggest screwing the shed to the wood which is located UNDER the shed (exposed to the elements)!? The nuts for the bolts are all 9/32 and many must be installed in very awkward spots; only young children's fingers are small enough to do the job. And, lastly, the parts don't always line up with the holes, leading to endless frustration; it gets worst when the hole for 4 parts must all line up to get a screw in there. A job that says should take 2-3 hours took the better part of a week (for 2 sheds) with up to 2 people working on it which, by the way, despite the recommendation to do so, is nearly impossible without people getting in each other's way. I cannot recommend this product ... show more

  • Great Value for the Price
Color: Green Size: 9' x 4'
After reading the reviews, I was expecting poorly written instructions, thin materials for siding, incorrect pilot holes, challenging protective wrap & bent or damaged pieces. For the price and only option available in the size I needed, I was willing to take the risk. For the most part all of the above challenges were true, but not to any extreme. The damage was minimal due to thin material and being banged around in transport eventhough everything was packaged well. The instructions were not horrible but did have a few incorrect diagrams. I layed everything out before I started so it was easy to figure out how things should go together. I would suggest doing this to avoid unassembling to correct later (there are a lot of screws). The majority of the holes lined up as long as the pieces are put in the right direction (instructions are not helpful as this is where some of the errors were). Some panels needed to be flipped which changed the overlaping order, but avoided re-drilling of holes. I did have to drill new pilot holes into the back, bottom frame but that was minor and the only holes that didn't line up correctly. The plastic wrap on the white parts was not fun to peel off so if you don't care, don't bother. The last thing I wish was better is the door slides. Everything works and the doors are reinforced, but the slides are plastic and I fear they'll only last a short while. I painted mine to match my house before I assembled, so if thhe color doesn't work plan on about 6 cans of spray paint for the green panels. A final thought, if you enjoy puzzles and putting things together, this is a fun project. If not, you may want to go with something a bit more simple. This was done mostly by me in one day (plus painting). A second person is only needed to hold a few bolts while the other person tightens due to there location and inability to reach. ... show more

  • Extremely time consuming to assemble
Color: Dark Gray Size: 9' x 4'
My husband and I have built many things during our 25 years of marriage and three homes. We both work with our hands for a living and consider ourselves handy. The two reviews here were quite different on the time it took them to assemble. The directions say 3 hours. There are over 300 small screws, plastic washers you have to separate, very small nuts that are hard to handle, and small caps to put over the exposed screws. 12 pieces had a plastic film that was very time consuming to peel off as it would tear if you didn’t take your time. It took us 2 full days in the hot Arizona sun to assemble. The directions are photos and very difficult to understand. We had to take time with every step and still made mistakes we had to go back and fix. Many pieces had dings and dents on arrival. Be sure to have plenty of time and a strong marriage before attempting to assemble this shed with your spouse. ... show more
