I bought this kid as a Christmas present for my brother after him, and I built the piano kit. As someone who enjoys building Legos and other assembly type projects, I think this kit will be a lot of fun and a good new challenge for him.

Instructions are excellent. It was fun to put together. Great craftsmanship. No pieces broke. However, once put together, it’s not all that great to run the marble through. It’s hard to see it go through its entire course. Wish it was a little smoother and fun to play.

Yet another winner by ROKR!! I've owned several of ROKR puzzles, and each time (this time included), while keeping occupied for hours and hours with the fun of putting the puzzles together, I can't stop being amazed at how intricate they are. The amount of hours that must go into the engineering and design of these (and then the trial and error for adjustment for a perfect fit and function)... the precision of the equipment they use to complete the pyrography and cut the wood pieces (not to mention when/where to include piece numbers)... selecting the right wood texture and thickness... I mean, the list goes on!! And they don't let an inferior product make it to market. Just like the others, this puzzle is practically flawless. I didn't choose to paint or stain it this time, but I have previously, and it just adds to the hours of fun! Once I completed assembly, it took a little bit to make it past the first step in running the marble. It kept flying off, and I thought I must have assembled something incorrectly. But nope! I finally got the hang of it, and within a very short time, I had the course memorized. But again, the main fun was the assembly to begin with. It is a perfect gift for your adult friends or family members (or really careful/smart/focused kids lol) that like puzzles or similar challenges and enjoy "tinkering" type things. And I am amazed at the price: with the amount of detail, design, and QC that go into these, the value is almost priceless. It is my ongoing goal to always have a ROKR puzzle in progress, and I can't wait to start my next one!!

This ROKR Miniature Marble Run puzzle leans a little more toward the "mechanical puzzle " side of things and it makes a good project for anyone who enjoys focused, hand-on builds. The laser cut wooden pieces are clean and well marked, and the picture based instructions kept the steps clear without being overwhelming. The parts punch out smoothly for me, though a few of the joints may need slow and steady pressure to line up. Once the gears begin fitting, you can really see how the mechanism takes shape, which makes the build feel relaxing and rewarding. It's the kind of project where you can put on some music, take your time, and watch it come together at a nice pace. After it's assembled, the hand crank turns with a smooth feel and sends the small metal balls along the track. The movement is simple but enjoyable, and the exposed gears give it an appealing look as a desk or shelf piece. Overall, it feels sturdy and feels like a nicely detailed model kit - fit for adult puzzle fans who like small mechanical builds. For the value, it's a satisfying solo project with a fun little motion feature once it's complete.

I am a huge fan of these wooden puzzles and the Rokr ones rarely disappoint. This puzzle is a little different from their traditional marble run because it is more like a game or maze. Assembly was as expected but I did miss a few steps/pieces, this didn't impact the overall performance but it is important to slow down and carefully follow the assembly instructions. There are a ton of extra parts but of course the only part i broke was one that did not have an extra, luckily I was able to glue it. All the parts fit together well and the finished puzzle is very sturdy. I was s little disappointed with the actual marble run functionality as it is pretty basic but I has fun assembling a new design

I built this wooden marble run on a Saturday at the kitchen table and it was a relaxing little project. Something easy to do to pass the time. The laser cut pieces pressed together clean with a few tight tabs that needed light sanding, and a tiny bit of glue on the stress points kept everything solid once the crank started turning. The gears and spiral track run smooth without sticking, the marbles loop through cleanly, and after a week of people playing with it during movie nights it still feels sturdy, which makes me confident about durability. The size sits nicely on a bookshelf without taking over the room, the natural wood look has that workshop vibe, and the light tan color fits my desk setup. Functionally it is a simple hand crank that actually works, no batteries to fuss with, and it is the kind of thing guests reach for without me telling them. For the price the value feels right because you get a chill build and a display piece that does not end up in a drawer.
