Description

Platform:Xbox One | Edition:Day One Outriders is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet. With rich storytelling spanning a diverse world, you’ll leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and desert in the pursuit of a mysterious signal. Combining intense gunplay with violent powers and an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets, Outriders offers countless hours of gameplay from one of the finest shooter developers in the industry – People Can Fly. Day 1 Edition includes “Hell's Rangers Content Pack”, which includes The Hell’s Rangers Male and Female Gear Sets, The Hell’s Rangers Arsenal of 11 unique Guns, and The Hell’s Rangers Truck Mods and Decals.

  • Action packed but graphics less than expected
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Day One
This game is pretty good if you like running and gunning with extra powers and crafting new weapons, gadgets, and outfits. I gave it a three, however, because the graphics don't look like current generation graphics. They are a mix between Xbox 360 graphics and Xbox One graphics. They look like they would be from a generation that would be between those two consoles. Not only that, but the animation sometimes suffers from late-forming textures and bland details. It often looks like an unfinished game. However, what initially drew me into the game was the interesting and unique story. That hooked me until I started seeing the deficiencies in the graphics. The feel of the controls are seamless, though, and the player character responds quickly to the controller commands. If not for the distracting graphics, it would have earned four stars from me. ... show more

  • Kinda fun but has some serious issues...
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Day One
This game has so much potential to be really fun. Lots of looting and shooting, distinct classes, an endgame... but it has so many bugs and missing details that I can't help but think the developers decided to completely skip play testing. Even now months after the initial issues with the servers on launch day I cannot play for longer than an hour without the game freezing and rebooting. Navigation could be way better. The story isn't bad, but not really inspired. Also really long load times! ... show more

  • It’s ok
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Day One
The game itself is ok, it’s not great, it’s not good, it’s just ok. The game has almost no replay ability, unless you’re into time trials that favor only one style of play. The story mode is relatively short, a good 3-10 hours (longer if the servers are terrible that day/week) After the story the game puts you into a time trial style gameplay for loot required to beat the final boss. Think Recore but slightly easier to gather. ... show more

  • Fun game but could have been way better.
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Day One
Feels like a bad mish mash of Destiny, Division, and Gears of War. Very grindy but without giving that feeling of progress. The multiplayer matchmaking needs polishing. Would be a fun game to play with friends but with randos, it’s very dicey. Graphics are fair but look last gen. Movement feels choppy and the game wants you to use the cover system but immediately punishes you for doing so. No vertical axis fine tuning? Wtf?? The story is was really saves this game. I hope it gets supported with solid expansions in the future. 7/10 - good filler game while you’re waiting for something else. ... show more

  • Unplayable and Lying Devs
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Day One
Practically unplayable. The devs lied about it not being a little be service so we're struggling to play it solo much less as a team. Glitches, crashes, etc. constantly plague me and my friends and I am currently unable to get my Day 1 DLC due to stupid bugs. Find a game that actually let's you play a game without being online. I hope more companies learn from this and the Avengers' failures. ... show more

  • Should probably wait a few months for devs to actually fix things before buying
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Day One
Game was literally unplayable the first 48 hours. (For all those saying this is to be expected... NO it's not. No one pays for a product expecting it NOT to work... Quit lying to yourself to sound like a fanboy). After weeks of updates and failures... Devs have officially made it a loot game, that you can't loot.... ... show more

  • Disappointment
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Day One
This was a huge disappointment. I received the item and it was damaged and would not download on my Xbox at all.

  • End game lacking
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Day One
I had fun leveling and playing through the story. Once at end game it just became a boring, grind fest that was not rewarding at all. I quit playing it before a month passed. End game content is garbage.
