We had an outlet that was not flush. It was installed in a cabinet and was just to far back. It was very difficult to use and the solution the builder came up with was to put a longer screw in the face plate. That was not working. Anyway we were trying to figure out work arounds and saw this product. Figured it was worth a try. It was super easy to install. Worked like a charm. Not much to say. We had our kitchen backsplash tiled. Installer did a Rube Goldberg job of installing the electrical outlets - guess he figured once he was done with the job, nobody would care about his installation of the electrical outlets. When I went to replace those outlet covers with ones that had LED lights, the replacement outlet cover screws would not reach the screw hole. Came across these extenders. Easy to cut with scissors to fit the needed length, and in a matter of minutes, I was able to install new outlet covers. Great product.     • Straight forward
Wife wanted to add some board and batten to a guest room and it ended up making the outlet to deep for the cover plate to sit on it appropriately. Trimmed these down and used the longer screws included which brought the box out just far enough to get the plate back on and call the room done!
