Worked great
These work great! I had several outlets that were installed prior to the backsplash and need a little boost so that everything laid flat against the backsplash. Easy to install and easy to cut

Great solution for a vexing problem

We had an outlet that was not flush. It was installed in a cabinet and was just to far back. It was very difficult to use and the solution the builder came up with was to put a longer screw in the face plate. That was not working. Anyway we were trying to figure out work arounds and saw this product. Figured it was worth a try. It was super easy to install. Worked like a charm. They sent plenty of product to do multiple outlets but we only had one so we donated the remainder to Habitat. ... show more

Get the job done!
These are awesome. Fixed a sunken light switch that I’ve been procrastinating fixing for 2 years in 10 minutes. Wish I found these sooner.

Good Product
I have always used the traditional outlet spacer - the ones you fold to get the correct thickness. Those I always fumbled getting them around the outlet screw and keeping them in place as I installed the outlet. These slipped over the screw and eliminated that fumbling. They are also easier to determine the length needed vs folding more than one layer and trying it. Now, 4 vs 5 star as the outlet is perhaps not as stable with these as with the foldable ones. The foldable ones have a larger surface to tighten the outlet against the box. Bottom line, I think if the depth I needed to extend the outlet against let is significant, then I might go with the foldable. If it’s say 1/4” then these work great. These are amazing, so quick and easy to use. A little on the pricey side but honestly they save me tons of time so it’s totally worth it. I recommend them for any electrician or handyman working on older homes.
