I bought this kit last winter, and used it quite often (I board 3-5 times a week in winter). I liked this kit because it had everything I needed, including some wax to start. I really have no complaints, as it works as advertised. I've added a smaller scraper to my kit, as well as a lot more wax, but other than that, the kit is exactly as it arrived. The iron feels kind of cheap, but it's held up so far, and the apron seemed kind of silly at first, but I find myself using it all the time now. I would have gladly traded the apron for a snowboard vise, but that would have increased the price by quite a bit. I'm sure there are better kits out there, but if you are just starting out, this kit is a good way to get going, and just add to it as you go along. ... show more

Both rubber bands snapped apart while I was waxing the ski making it very difficult to complete the job. They were quick to refund my money even though I didn't ask for a refund, which was great. They sent correspondence insisting that I used the product improperly and that the bands were not meant for skis at all, which was baffling. I purchased to tune up some used skis. First time I've ever tuned skis and the kit was easy to use. We had local ski shop tune one of the sets and I think my tune and wax job was as good as theirs. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it only includes one bar of wax and you burn through it fast.

Comes with what you need. The bands broke first use, and the iron takes a bit to get hot/stay hot. If you’re just starting to wax your skis at home though is is a good kit

I really liked everything this kit included so I looked for it everywhere. Found the last one here and I knew I was getting a damaged box but I didn’t think I was getting a severely used product. Surprisingly everything was still included but everything is full of wax and the wax is practically gone so that was very disappointing.
