Have never tuned skiis before but am very good with my hands and something like this should be rather simple. My first issue is that this kit did not come with a base bevel tool which I thought it did?!!!!! How can this be called a kit without this primary tuning essential??? It has 2 different side edge tools instead? Very disappointing for what I paid. The main side tool also does not glide very stable either. If you do not apply pressure in the exact correct way, which is critical for getting a nice straight edge, it will move around on you which changes the angle..not good. It may cost a bit more but do your homework and buy high quality tools (Swix, Toko) individually. The only real useful item was the iron and scrapers. Do not recommend, especially for $120. ... show more

Just take your time and it’s not hard. You prep the board or ski with a series of brushes, you melt wax, iron it on evenly from top to bottom, and then scrape it all off. Add to that sharpening the edges and you save lots of money. I bought it for my two sons and I and we use it every other ride to wax our boards. The wax that comes with it may wax one board 8 times, a set of skis maybe 12 times. Just buy extra if you need it. A well done product, good quality. ... show more

Kit had almost everything necessary for a complete tune up. Items seem like they are of good quality and not cheap junk. Only items lacking are a base edge file guide tool and brushes. The diamond stones and holder work good for setting the edge bevel. The holder has a very small hole or window on the back to indicate the angle you dial in but is difficult to read as the numbers are very small and stamped in the green plastic. The numbers are there...just a little tough to see. No other issues using the tools; watching a few Youtube videos before attempting helped with the process. ... show more

I really want to like this kit, it truly has everything you need to tune. I am not sure if this is how all diamond stones are, but after tuning our full set of 4 skis the diamond stones were completely worn out with a groove right down the middle. Unfortunately the way the holder for the stones is setup it's hard to use the entire effective surface. I contacted Demon and they said they would send me new stones, but that was over a month ago now and they still haven't sent anything. A week ago they took $5 from me for shipping and still haven't sent anything. They seem really all over the place from a support perspective. ... show more

Great kit that includes pretty much everything you need to tune and wax your skis/snowboard. I went with this kit over some of the other kits available because it has the 3 diamond stones and an adjustable edge tuner that allows you to set the angle of your edge. Great kit at a great price!
