This is a nice set of pads to have on hand in my skiing kit. The quality of the foam is good and I like the fact that there are two thicknesses of pads in different colors so that they can be easily distinguished. The pads are good for ski boots, but I expect that they will also come in handy for helmet fitting. I'll be off with a group for a ski vacation this winter, and these will be good to have on hand. Helps with heel lift in snowboard boots but I would recommend getting the correct size boots these are a fix for wrong fitting boots
