I do vendor event outside and even a warm summers breeze can send your tent flying like a kite. These are great and can be used for other things when not attached to a tent. I used a 2 liter soda bottle filled with sand, its fits snug in the holder and will stand on its own and since they have handles for easy carrying, they can also be used as weights for exercise. I bought thinking I could use water to fill and then dump them after each use. I ended up filling with sand because they did not hold the water. but the still do the job. Holds about 14 lbs. each
