The media could not be loaded. Well now, there is nothing like being able to feel comfortable and relaxed after mosing an acre of lawn and the grandparents are watching the kids. No joke. I ended up giving away my old hammock that was made of rope and hung from tree trunks since we finally got around to removing all the dead trees. But I missed being able to swing comfortably with a book in the autumn breeze. So I gave in an bought a free stand. Best decision. It came in one box in easily identifiable pieces that put together just like the instructions. Took less then 30 minutes, no joke. And while being extremely sturdy, it also moves easily (as seen on the driveway surrounded by my toddlers "art" with my arm and knee poking up). And sturdy it is. My 225 lb hubby was swinging in it with our two 40 lb toddlers comfortably. No shaking of the stand or bowing or bending. And there was plenty of cloth to provide support for the three of them. On the grass or the concrete, all of us felt easily supported. And the cloth itself is thick, slightly stretchy, and comfortable. Nice design and no weird smell. It swings gently too. Perfect for a clear, sunny, dry day of 70 degrees with a thermos of coffee and a book. You know, for the 10 minutes that lasts before my kids all need me for something. ... show more

    • Design flaws

The hammock frame is easy to assemble but very lightweight so it blows over easily in wind. The hammock material stretches so much that you have to attach the hammock super high on the frame (above my waist) so when you lay on it, you don’t “bottom” out. Even then I’m only a few inches off the ground (and I don’t weight a lot!). No way would this work for the weight of two people! And it’s sold as a double hammock. I’d adjust the height even higher but then can’t climb on! A design flaw is the butterfly-screws that hold the hooks rub against the hammock strings when trying to swing....makes for a bumpy swing plus afraid it will cut thru the strings at some point. Ended up buying another hammock but then realized the frame is kinda a unique length so my new hammock is too long! Argh...not a relaxing experience 😣 Would have returned it but bought in winter and waited til spring to put out. ... show more

I liked the easy assembly! A couple parts and it only takes 10 minutes at most to put it together! I love that I feel secure on it as well! I’m 210 lbs and it holds me!! I recommend it!! I brought 2 of them!

When it got here the box was torn open in places, looked like it was already used, but I opened it and then when I laid on the hammock, it went down to the ground, like it was stretched out. If no one else has used it, then this is not the way a hammock should be. The purpose is to lay down and be able to relax, being able to swing in the air, instead it was like I was laying on the ground. I tried to re-just it but you can't pull it tighter since it's already on the top hole. Tried to put it back in the box, but there wasn't any way to do it. The picture shows a guy laying in one, but he was up higher, so it's not an accurate photo. ... show more

    • Hammock does not fit the frame.
Color: A-rainbow Stripe
Instructions on the frame indicate that the hooks can go on the front or back of the frame depending on the size of the hammock. If hooks are on the front of the frame in the highest hole, the hammock is WAY to low to the ground. With the flex in the hammock material my 150# butt smashed into the metal pipe that rests on the ground. This didn't feel very good at all. Moving the hooks to the back of the frame the hammock is just barely too small to reach both sides at the highest level, so as delivered this Hammock and frame are completely incapable of being used. I am going to attempt to purchase some chain and try to extend the reach of the hammock so that I can run it through the uprights and reach hooks on the back side of the frame. I think If I use the lowest holes on the rear of the frame I should also get some flexibility in hammock height as well. In general whoever made this hammock has clearly never used it. ... show more

This was super easy to put together and take apart. Simple to move it from one place to another, comes with carry case. problems I had were actually putting the hammock on it. I put the hook on the outside of the frame in the topmost spot so it required some pulling to hook it and I'm a wimp so had to work at it a minute. The 2nd was that it seemed to stretch while I was in there....ended up pretty close (but not on) the ground. However afterwards I did pull it and reposition the hook to another hole. I believe it will be better next use. ... show more

Although the instructions were clear and assembly of the base was easy, hanging the hammock was difficult. Also had two substantially damaged pieces of the base, although still functional. Hammock itself had a lot of pull and snags in the material. The end pieces also have a lot of wiggle room even when screwed in tightly, so the frame is absolutely going to split eventually. Every other 3 star review or lower is spot on. Will be returning ... show more
