I used this hose to install an aerator in my 1.5 acre pond. It works exactly as advertised, and is worth the extra cost. The hose lies nicely on the bottom of the pond, and I've had no issue at all with accidentally hooking it with fishing lures. (I even sort of tried to hook it deliberately so I could assess the risk). I used a simple row boat to lay it, and it was very easy to install, something you'll want to accomplish on a less windy day. Excellent tubing. Replaced my last poly tubing with this product. The turtles were nicking the poly tubing. This tubing is tougher and seems to work well. I am using it to aerate a 1 acre pond.

Worked great for my pond aerator. Sank right to the bottom and it has held up to driving over it with the compact tractor a couple of times. I now have it buried so I won't be driving directly on it anymore. Good value compared to what local retailers wanted to to charge.

This hose is pretty robust. So far I am happy with it. I purchased a roll for $423 in December. I went to buy another in March and it is now $800. I guess that's not happening.
