I checked this one (Outdoor Adventure) and 33,000 ft. My nephew has the 33,000 ft in black. I went with this one because I favor "olive drab". Both coats/jackets look similar. They both fold up into small items to carry in a back pack. But, I can definitely vouch for this one. Wasn't overly hot, but fought the wind and kept me warm when that happened. Like a switch went on. Fit was very comfortable. Sleeves weren't short and length was excellent. Zipper is outstanding. No issues at all. Everything right and at a very decent price. If you practice a bit you'll eventually get the folding down to a science. This one folds into it's own pocket not an extra little bag. Amazing! Who thought of this? I like this jacket. More than I expected and has become my go-to daily wear when it's cool at all. I will note, a slight annoyance that when zipping the pockets shut, I have to be careful because the fabric of the jacket can easily get caught in the zipper, requiring some patience to undo it. I imagine this is possible on competing jackets that cost more, so keeping it at 4 stars vs 5 stars. ... show more

This became my go-to jacket last winter. It is the right combination of light weight and warm. I tend to run hot, but I was able to be comfortable in this even a little below 30 degrees. I like that it does fit just a little snug. I'm a large guy, so it might not fit everyone that way. I was worried when I first got it because the material feels really thin, but it held up during a full winter of use. It also did keep moisture out effectively. I've used this for over a year and I just love it. Skiing? Keeps you warm and works as a great mid layer. Walking outside? Looks stylish and keeps you warm. The product is also extremely easy to store with the amazing pocket & zipper technology where you pack the whole jacket into the left pocket and zip it closed.     • Great jacket overall but.... beware the blue color
I had previously bought the green version of this jacket (but with a hood) for a backpacking trip. I liked it so much I bought another one, this time choosing blue color without the hood for everyday cold weather wear. For the price it's a great jacket that's light weight, packable and keeps you warm in 35-40+ degrees. However... the one big issue I have with the blue colored one is the moment you sweat even a little the whole collar area starts getting discolored (darker) which makes the jacket look dirty/dingy. I've had to wash it several times over the last 3 months to get rid of the dark staining around the collar area. The green one I previously bought does not have this problem so there must be something about the blue material they used. The other negative is there is no inside pocket. So I have deducted 1 star for each issue. Otherwise for the price it's a great jacket. ... show more

I bought this for a month long fall\winter trip to Spain. I needed something to pack small (as I only took a carry on bag and Ryanair size backpack), and something I could layer. It came with a bag, which unfortunately I lost, but it also rolls up into it's pocket. It was perfect for 35-40ish fahrenheit without layering. Because I wanted to layer, I did buy a size too large. And because I bought a size too large it looked completely style-less. But it served me really well and the big pockets came in very handy too. Overall, I have no complaints.
