We purchased these in March of 24 and I wanted to wait to provide a review. These speakers are awesome. We live in metro Phoenix so I wondered how they would the heat. Answer... No problem. I initially charged them using the power cord in March; the sun has been charging them for 9 months since. So if you live in a sunny location, these are the best. Great sound, easy paring with your devices, and are portable. Even if not in an area as sunny as AZ, I bet they would work as well as they are in the shade all afternoon after being recharged in the morning sun. The range of connectivity is variable, but overall, if your phone is within 20 feet or so, you should be good. My only 2 complaints are: 1. You have to turn each one on separately, yet you can turn both off by turning one off. 2. I wish they incorporated a handle within the design so they are easier to move. Those are minor issues compared to how well they work. Bottom line... Buy them. ... show more

Solar charging feature is incredible. We have been using these speakers every day for 2-3 hours and have never had to charge them. Leave them in the sun. Great sound. About 55 feet range on the Bluetooth. Sound quality is very good. They pair easily. They have been left out in the pouring rain, all weather conditions for that matter for 4 months and they look and sound the way they did the day we bought them. A very good product. ... show more

Out of the box these speakers were pretty good. Connecting was easy and the sound quality was good for a $100 set of speakers. But, when the honeymoon was over these rocks turned into just that, rocks. Here is a list of reasons to look at other speakers. 1. I found that connecting with a device to the speakers then effected trying to connect with another device. My son would use his phone to connect then when I tried to use my phone it would only remember his. I'd have to have him turn his bluetooth off to have any chance of connecting my phone. 2. I had my rocks about 15 feet apart and the connection was often static filled. 3. It would take multiple attempts to pair them together and then connect to a device. 4. If it's cloudy out during the day you'll get very limited play time. 5. One Texas summer and the solar screen is falling apart. Not very durable. 6. Now I can only get one of the speakers to work, the other has a red light that just flickers. The working speaker will then just shut off at will. The 5 Star reviews I read appear too be from people that just took their rocks out of the box. Give them a few months and then review. On the bright side they're cheaper than real rocks that you would use to decorate your yard. So, I've got that going for me. ... show more

The good news: The sound good and the reach is good. I keep mine poolside but love that I can pick them up and bring them into other areas while I’m working in the garden. The bad news: Don’t count on them being 100% waterproof. After 1 year one of them got wet inside and will not charge. The tab protecting the charging port was intact and secure. I will not leave them out in the rain anymore which is disappointing since they are supposed to be weatherproof. ... show more

I bought these outdoor speakers in June 2022 and have had them over a year. Full disclosure I did buy a returned pair so that may have been why one of the speakers quit connecting to the other after a year. All of last summer these worked AWESOME and I was sooo happy with them. Easy to connect to Bluetooth, easy to connect to each other and I ran them off my iPad which stayed in the house most of the time. So I was really please with the control range I had with them. I took them inside over the winter and brought them out in late April of this year to use. All was working well until about three weeks ago when one of them quit syncing to the other. It was fully charged, just would not sync. Unfortunately after several attempts to turn them on and off and resync them, the small tab broke off and now it won’t work at all. I was extremely disappointed and for the price I feel I should have gotten more than one summer’s use from them. I did buy a 2nd set because some of the reviews say you can link multiple speakers. I hope this will work. If not I will return the other two speakers and try a different brand. Overall I was really pleased with the speakers (enough to buy a second set) until the tab broke on the on/off/sync button. Poor quality workmanship, but the sound and other features of this speaker are quite good. ... show more
