Very happy with this purchase. We are avid campers and until now, have only ever had wood burning fires when camping. But given the current fire danger situation in California, wood fires are currently prohibited. So, rather than go without a campfire completely (which would’ve been a total bummer), we decided to purchase a propane fire pit (which is currently allowed). We were pleasantly surprised by the performance of this fire pit. It’s not big, but it’s also not too small. It’s easy to operate, clean burning and it gives off a good amount of heat. You can adjust the intensity of the fire with the simple turn of a knob. While we did miss having the ember glow of a real wood fire, this is the next best alternative. Still made for great camping ambience at night. We ended up buying two of these fire pits, one for us and one for my parents who also came along on the trip. Because it was our first time using a propane fire pit, we decided to put them both together at the campsite and use both of them for the first time. They worked great. Would definitely recommend this purchase.

I recently purchased this portable propane fire pit for a camping trip in Colorado, and I was extremely impressed with how well it performed. The size was perfect—not too small—and it allowed a group of us to sit comfortably in a circle, stay warm, and still enjoy that wonderful campfire atmosphere. One feature I especially appreciated was the long, sturdy hose that connects the fire pit to the propane tank. It allowed us to keep the propane tank a good distance away from everyone sitting around the fire, which made the setup feel much more comfortable and convenient. Best of all, the self-igniting feature made starting the fire incredibly easy. No matches, lighters, or struggling to get a flame started—just turn it on and ignite it. Overall, this fire pit was efficient, convenient, and the perfect size for our camping group. It gave us the warmth and ambiance of a campfire without the hassle. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it for camping!

This is a great little fire pit. I purchased it due to a current burn ban in Washington during planned 5-day camping trip, during which propane pits are allowed. Who wants to go camping for a week without a camp fire? I was impressed with it's design and performance. Set up was easy, and it put out a surprising amount of light and heat for its size. I was also impressed by how little propane it consumed. We used it every night for several hours, set at high output for most of the time, and used less than 3/4 of a 20lb tank over the course of 5 nights. Plus I loved the convenience of easy starts and immediate shut-off - no waiting around for the embers to die! Highly recommended.

This has been great for camping when we aren’t aloud to use actual wood fires. It’s fine for 3-4 people during colder temps and you’ll need to be close to it. All in all though, haven’t had any issues and we’ve used it a lot.

A great little fire pit! We always have burn bans in the summer time but the exception is anything with a valve we can shut off. This thing is lightweight, compact and puts out a lot of heat! We've toasted hot dogs and marshmallows on it so far and we love it!
