Worked perfect for my Ferrell cat house at 1st. After 4 weeks it started shutting off and giving an error message. No it won't stay on at all and it's freezing outside. Trying to co tact the seller but not being very successful so far. I bought this product to use for a semi feral cat living in a small cat house on our covered porch. After three weeks we got increasing error codes and the pad shut off. The manufacturer said it was due to oxidation in the control unit. We returned and got a replacement. The same thing happened within a week.     • Works great, but isn’t waterproof
I got my dog used to it inside then put it outside for him and he loves it. For an outdoor mat to not be waterproof is frustrating though. It started raining unexpectedly and with the wind the controls got wet and shorted out. I was able to replace it and now it just stays inside.
