  • Love this set of mica powders!!
Color: 36 Colors
I'm not sure what excites me most.. the colors or the fact that it has 36 of the cutest little bottles full of these bright beautiful colors! I mean seriously I'm a crafter and sets/kits/ just tickle me pink. This was a great deal. I had a pack of 24 in my cart. But what i can stand is seeing a set of 36 with a $1.00 or two price difference. Now that...THAT is crazy! Why not go for 12 more? When crafting you know without a doubt you'll use them for something. This was another buy I was sure happy with. It came very quick and packaged well. I got these to use in UV resin however of course it'll be used for other things too. That's what is truly great about things like this. In crafting its nice to have things on hand then things on the way but any how here you get 10g of powder in each little jar. They are perfect when storing away and they do not take up much room in fact mine fit in my drawer with everything in the photo. That doesn't mean that they are very small though because they aren't they are of great size. It mixes very well and I had no problems with it when mixed with my resin. The shine/glow is beyond Beautiful and it is highly pigmented though it only takes a very small amount for coverage so please remember when using uv resin that a little goes a long way as if you add too much it can cause your resin not to cure. ... show more

  • The variety of colors is fantastic
Color: 36 Colors
I recently got my hands on the Smalltongue Mica Powder set, and I have to say, I'm really impressed! The variety of colors is fantastic—36 shades to choose from means there's something for every project I have in mind. Each bottle holds just the right amount of mica powder, and 0.35 oz is perfect for what I need. I've been using these for some DIY epoxy resin projects, including snow globe tumblers, and the finish is just beautiful. The colors are vibrant and mix really well, creating some stunning effects in the resin. Plus, they’re easy to work with; they blend seamlessly without clumping up, which I really appreciate! One thing I love is how a little goes a long way. Even with just a small scoop, I can achieve impressive color saturation. It makes my tumblers look professional, and I've received lots of compliments on them. Overall, if you're looking to add some sparkle and color to your resin creations, this mica powder set is definitely worth considering. It's been a game changer for my crafting, and I can't wait to experiment with all the different shades! ... show more

  • Color Explosion! But… It’s Got a Little Extra Attitude in Epoxy.
Color: 72 Colors
Let me start by saying—this mica powder set is like opening a box of pure happiness. 72 vibrant colors, each in its own cute little bottle, practically begging me to go full mad scientist with my resin projects. It’s like someone took a unicorn, dipped it in glitter, and bottled the results. The colors? Gorgeous. Bold. Endless possibilities. I’ve used them in epoxy resin pours, lip gloss, soap making, and even jazzed up some bath bombs that made me feel like I was bathing in cosmic dust. Seriously, the color payoff is excellent—a little goes a long way, and the variety is chef’s kiss. BUT… When it comes to epoxy resin, it leaves this slight microscopic film on the surface. It’s not a deal-breaker—it’s more like a “huh, well that’s mildly annoying” moment. I had to hit a few of my pieces with an extra clear coat or a quick sanding to get the glass-smooth finish I was after. It’s like the powder doesn’t always want to fully settle—it’s got commitment issues. So, 4 stars because while I LOVE the color range and versatility, that little film means extra work if you’re chasing that perfect, crystal-clear epoxy look. Bottom line? Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Would I warn my fellow resin crafters to keep a clear coat handy? Also yes. Color me impressed—with just a tiny splash of "could be better." ... show more

  • A must for resin
Color: 72 Colors
I was looking for a good mica powder. My goal was to get one that was highly pigmented with little product. And I am proud to say that found the one. Smalltongue mica powder is vibrant and highly pigmented with just a smidge of powder. The size is fairly adequate. I got the 72 count. It’s very easy to use. Please use gloves and protect your work area as they have a lot of pigmentation and I say this in a good way. When mixing first do it slow, they will mix beautifully with a little patience. They do stain table covers so protect it. A tiny bit goes a long way. I use them on resin and the coverage is phenomenal. The application comes out smooth and even. I am glad I found these ... show more
