The pictures are close, but taking a direct photo of the light is always iffy for capturing it as you see it. If you see hotspots in the LEDs in the picture, you don't see them with your eyes when looking at the lights directly. I wanted to capture the unique shape and size of these strips. They are 12mm wide at the bright front, mounting back, and a bit longer on the sides. The clips hold on to them without being overt from the direct front view. While I will use these as indirect lighting, if used as a direct design or directly visible, they are clean and tidy and resemble a neon tube look. The color looks 6500K, but I don't have a meter to verify it. A very tight bend radius is possible; you'll need to hold it with clips. You only get 16 clips with this kit, so if you want to get more creative, you'll need to check with BUNACET for more of those or make your own (3D print some nylon clips). I'd like to see more or a reference for where to get more from the manufacturer or distributor. The remote is functional, and I appreciate that it's a 2x AA battery that can be rechargeable if you wish. On/Off, night mode (Dim), bright and dim button, 50% brightness, and then 10min and 1hour timers, with a cancel timer button. The remote is not waterproof, so don't leave it outside. You'll have to waterproof and secure the black power adapter as well -- it's certainly not outdoor rated. You can see the dark dots every 2" / 5cm where it can be cut and they do include an additional cap to cover the end once cut. I'm currently waiting on some 60mm x 10mm x 3mm adhesive-backed magnets to augment the clips while installing them against a metal backing. It's a nice light rope -- I look forward to finishing my project with it.

These look fantastic. The light is nice and solid, and very flexible to maneuver it around corners when putting these up. You will need to buy some clips to hang these, as they do not have the sticky back with peel-off tape like some others do. These look to last a long, long time, and you won't need to remove these for a decade or so (I hope), so screw-in clips to line these on wherever you want to put them would be best. These are waterproof, BUT the plug and controller are NOT waterproof. So, if you want these outside, you'll need to get some sort of waterproof container to keep the controller and plug. That is kind of a pain, because those are hard to find. I wanted to put these out on my deck railing, but I have no way to keep the controller and plug away from the elements. I may rig up some sort of plastic bag or something so I can, but the plug portion worries me. Other than that, these look amazing. They are solid all the way across, no gaps in the LED lights. Due to the flexibility of this strip, you could use this to make patterns or something on the wall like a picture or something. I will be using these in my garage (due to the waterproof plug issue) around my work benches, as the one I currently have in there is a little too short.

This is perfect for my recording booth. They have no adhesive like some other rope lights I’ve seen, but they did come with some small plastic clips that I didn’t use. I’d describe it as a thick, flexible cable where one side is rubbery and the other has the light. They get really bright and can also dim quite a bit, and the remote control is really convenient since that means I can turn the lights on before I step into the booth. Very happy with these lights!

This is a nice, long rope light at 26', and quite bright at the max setting. The quality is good, and I'd expect it to be durable and to withstand the elements in an outdoor setting. The manufacturer claims ETL certification. The controller and power supply are not waterproof, and so will need to be positioned with care or otherwise protected. The control options are not great. The supplied remote (2 AAA batteries required but are not included) is a bit minimalistic. You can turn the rope on and off, increase and decrease the brightness, and set one of two timers (10 minutes or 1 hour). That's it. Note that the supplied remote does not match what is depicted in the listing. The remote pictured in the listing has functions for "Dynamic Mode" presumably referring to solid versus animated lighting, color temperature selection, increase or decrease in speed (presumably of animation), and offers two different timers (6 hours and 12 hours, rather than 10 minutes and 1 hour in the actual remote). The supplied remote offers none of these functions. I was expecting these functions because they were promoted, but if you don't care about such functions then my observation will not be relevant to you. There is no app or other means of control. EDIT: The seller has been responsive in correcting their erroneous listing so the images now match the provided remote control. I have revised the rating since the product now matches the listing.

The media could not be loaded. These LED light rope is advertised as warm white, that is not the case with the one I received, the one I received is only cool white and at that it is not very bright. I have included a video so you can see the brightness levels for the cool white only color that this LED light rope is giving me. I played with the remote control and looked at the remote control receiver to see if I was doing something wrong, I followed the instructions and still no warm white and no 100% brightness either. These LED light rope has fallen short of where I was expecting this product to be, I got it because I wanted a warm white light to help illuminate my gym area, but this light is falling far short of the desired result. I am going to have to remove this light and get another one. I am very disappointed by this LED light rope.
