I read through reviews and followed the persons advice in the top review about buying some high heat protective spray paint to coat it with before first use. You get what you pay for. this fire pit is so cute and fits right in to my little happy place I have created in my back yard. It's cheap, so of course without the right protocols, its going to rust quick. I got a three pack of the rust-oleum high heat protective matte black spray paint and I used a little more than three whole cans (I had extra at the house already). I do have a very heavy hand with spray paint so most people could probably get away with the three pack easily. I also purposefully did go very heavy on these coats because I didn't want to have to ever go back to this step again. I did this straight out of the box and covered everything except for the hardware since i didn't want to gunk it up. 12 hours later there was already rust around the hardware where it was put in so i went back and hosed down these areas after the screws were in. I suggest doing this before you let it sit outside for a day. Its very lightweight so I have even packed it up to got to a friends house with me here and there. this does not travel well with the ring installed around it. I eventually gave up on that ring all together because its so flimsy and no amount of tightening of the screws will help. maybe I will eventually try to solder or weld the pieces together into a ring and then try to utilize it again. But the pit works just fine without it and I LOVE the way it looks and feels in my space.

We wanted to stop using our regular fire pit because it was always getting wet looked ugly in the summer if I didn’t put plants in it and without a cover it could spark our planes or mulch. So smaller but much more attractive with the celestial cutouts became the perfect solution. We added more stone in ours and placed it atop. Everybody enjoys a SAFE warm evenly distributed outdoor wood fire. Love the screen and the pronged tool to lift a hot screen up to add more wood. We love it. It looks good where it is or can be easily transported anywhere like the beach. This will certainly give us more flexibility and adaptability while continuing to maintain healthy social guidelines going forth and after. It’s a real price performer, very attractive, and fulfills a magical look at a fire from the sides and above.

I love this fire pit!!! It was so easy to put together. It’s the perfect size and I love that it’s on legs and stands off the ground. We’ve used it several time already and I can’t wait for the weather to get cooler so I can use it every night! It is beautiful with the fire burning and the silhouette of the stars and moons. Some reviews said it was hard to get the screws lined up, but I followed one recommendation on putting in every other screw first then going back and doing the others and it lined up perfectly. Price is great, if debating, just buy it you won’t regret.

I got this fire pit to match my stars and moon-themed patio area. I love how the sun shines through the cutouts and makes a neat pattern during the day! Also, the fire light shines through the openings. Great little fire pit. Plus, it was easy to put together in about 20 minutes. Also, it's easy to move around on my patio (when it's cool!!!) by lifting it up by the outer metal ring.

I love the look of this firepit! It is exactly what I was hoping it would be for looks. My husband said was easy to put together and that it looks nice. The instructions could be a little clearer, but he was able to get it together with little trouble.

The media could not be loaded. So happy with this fire ring. So pretty in the evening with the flame light showing through it. I bought the grate to cook on ( as in photo) and it fits perfectly even with the lid on top.

This fire pit is nicely built. It's sturdy yet very lightweight for easy moving. I purchased this at the end of summer last year and had it stored until just a few days ago. It took me about 30 minutes to put together and it was far better than I expected for the price. Would definitely recommend.

The fire pit went together very easy and quickly. Sturdy and not to heavy. The cut outs look great all around. Decent height of the ground. We can't wait till we start it in next week or two. The outer ring is as a little barrier so u don't get so close.
