Really nice, easy assembly, and great quality. Only issue, and it’s my problem is that the baby possums want to make it their feeding post daily, and a safe place during storms, and that okay too, because it’s adorable, but we have to take care of the Feral cats too, so I’m working on that.

This was an easy to put together cat house for the most part. I put it together by myself with a screwdriver and that worked fine. But oddly, when I added the bottom on, there was absolutely nothing to hold it in place. The directions did not say anything except attach the bottom per the picture. It did not show adding screws or anything. So I drilled some small halls and added 2 screws on each side to hold it in place. Other than that, it went together just like the directions showed and fit together quite squarely--no gaps or misfit corners. Hinges went on smoothly and work great. So I'm not sure what happened with the bottom but it was easy enough to remedy if you have a drill and some screws. It's charming to look at and I love the hinged top which will make it easy to clean inside when the time comes. I also sprayed it with Gorilla water proofing spray on the outside in hopes of extending the life of it since I am using it outdoors. ... show more

Very nice just couldn’t get the cat to get inside. Constructed well. We put plastic over because it appeared the wood may warp. I still recommend anyway. I still have it outside and it’s weathered the 5 days of rain…and dry inside. Cats have a mind of their own and no other creatures have ventured in either. Go figure ... show more

All product’s should be this easy to put together. Well worth the price they are charging. I think I had it put together in less than 15 minutes. Granted I am currently a mechanic and I built houses for 20 years before that but I have put some things together that made me question the series of events that led to that moment. ... show more

    • Great home for my feral cats
I bought this last winter because I knew that there were some feral cats in my backyard and I didn’t want them to be exposed to the cold and certainly when I put food out for them. I wanted it to be protected so we bought this put it together and it is a fantastic cat house.

I received this absolute wonderful outdoor Cat shelter today, very excited to see if my stray cat will use it. I have been feeding her for over a month, haven't had any contact with her yet, I think she is expecting. Anyway, the unit is solid wood and made very very well. I was able to put it together alone, however it would be nice it you have help, you will need help to move it outside if constructed inside.. You will need a cordless screwdriver / drill. I will post photos once I get it outside in the day light. You can not go wrong with this unit, I also purchased one of those self warming pad. For such a simple structure, I was surprised that this was a little confusing to put together. But, once done, it's a good outdoor hide-away for a small pet. Sadly, our kitty never would go in it.
