The packaging came in messed up. It has no instructions at all, None At All...plus we had to redrill a hole cause they was not properly done. Need a hammer to fit the bars into place.

As other reviews have said you can’t assemble this out of the box. The pre drilled holes had too much metal in the way to put the parts together and required filing. The hardware sent was incorrect. 1 of the four wing nuts provided was the wrong size. Once assembled it feels loose and wobbly.

    • Pick the Stand Right for Your Motor Size and Needs
I needed a lighter weight outboard motor stand, in all "black" to display a vintage 1951 7 1/2 HP Sears & Roebuck Elgin motor in my office. The stand is collapsible and for smaller motors and thus has a smaller floor footprint. I could have bought a larger non-collapsible ultra heavy duty stand for a bit less cost, but I wanted the above features. The collapsible feature allows folding into the back of a car, motor off of course. It does all that what I want. I think it is good for personal garage to dock use with a smaller floor footprint as they advertise. The phrase "heavy duty" is probably a bit of an over statement just from visual observation but it is still sturdy. The instructions are on the Amazon site... 4 bolts. ... show more

    • Project is just OK.
Product is just OK. No instructions provided and some of the holes didn't line up so I used a punch to correct. Also, the bars with the handles barely fit into the stand so I had to scrape the interior paint off before getting them in. Serves it's purpose I suppose but I'd recommend spending a few more dollars and getting something better. ... show more

This item did not come with instructions, the screws broke while the 30 hrp motor was on it and my husband had to replace them with some stainless steel screws.
