    • The Only Toy That Gets My Overweight Cat Moving
My cat is absolutely obsessed with this toy! This wand is the only way I can get my overweight (16 lb) cat moving. I've been using it to keep him more active and lose weight through several five-minute play sessions every day. I've purchased two wands so far. The first I purchased in Oct 2022 and the second was purchased Dec 2024 to replace the first after the battery seemed to die as it stopped squeaking (unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to open it up and replace batteries). Since the sound is the main reason my cat enjoys it, the wand had to be replaced. The squeaking sound is great at getting his attention (though a bit loud for human ears as a small warning), and the feathers seem to add an extra layer of fun for him. The plastic wand is durable and easy to maneuver, allowing me to create engaging chase sessions. The tethered string design works great as well since I haven't had any issues with fraying even though he chews and claws on the cord. This wand quickly became my cat's favorite, and I highly recommend it to any cat owner looking for a fun and engaging toy. Five stars all the way! ... show more

    • Last one stopped squeaking but New one squeaks!
I bought this toy for my cat last year in 2024 and he absolutely loves it. He enthusiastically plays with it every time I bring it out into the back screen room play room with its series of irresistibly captivating squeaks. The only problem about this product that prevents me from giving it 5 stars- the last one I bought last year quit squeaking after only a few months! I know I had bought it around last Summer time so it has been less than a year and it seems that the battery has gone dead already. I haven't played with my cat with this toy every single day to have caused it to quit squeaking so soon (or didn't overuse it that would drain out the battery so soon). I wish so much that the little mouse tethered to the rod had a "replaceable" battery inside it. Well, the good news is I recently just bought a new 2nd one of these again that squeaks just fine again and my cat Elmo still loves grabbing and biting it. It will be very interesting to me to see how long the battery in this new one lasts because the old squeaker lasted around only 7 or 8 or 9 months at most before completely giving out. Really cute, engaging cat toy, with possibly lousy irreplaceable battery = 4 stars kitty cat fun. Still worth every penny. ... show more

    • Sturdy and a bit nervewrecking
I bought the play wand for a new cat we took in. He was a bit nervous at the beginning and needed to let off steam. Given that he is a 16 pound male cat, he has quite some energy to spend and two wand have already landed in the trash can. This one so far has lasted. the chord the holds the squeaky mouse is a bit short, so that play time almost ends up to also be exercising time for me, as I have to move the thing around with wide arm movements. And then of course there is the squeaky mouse. I should've paid more attention to the name of the wand, so the only one to blame her is me. My hope is that our new buddy will soon have reduced the mouse to a state where it doesn't squeak anymore, whenever that might be. ... show more

    • My cat goes bonkers for this
This was to replace an old cat toy I had bought 5+ years ago for my cat, which was her favorite but it had just worn completely out. Looked like this one was very similar, and I'm happy to say it's exactly what I wanted! My cat absolutely loves this toy. She goes nuts for it and won't stop playing until I wind up having to stop. My cats were intrigued as soon as they saw me take it out. The squeak is attention grabbing which gets cats to notice. It helps them gets some exercise too! My cats love it! I recommend it!

The media could not be loaded. Oh my gosh its like buying a drumset for a child, the thing wont stop squeaking. She loves it so i guess its a win, but good grief i wish there was an off switch. I can already see this thing going off in the middle of the night even if i put it out of reach, like a furby. I also wish the string was a bit longer.
