I always had my own concoction for dealing with constipation and found some relief. Then I discovered MiraLAX and was skeptical to stop what I was doing and try something new. I'm glad I did. I was able to stop take 3-4 pills daily and start mixing a scoop of MiraLAX a day in some tepid water. The result? An effective and better remedy than I had. There are other off-brand formulas that wish to compete. Skip them. When it comes to this part of your health, stick with the experts. You don't know about other fillers in the cheaper products or their effectiveness. MiraLAX does not disappoint and full mixes with water, while other less expensive brands don't. I have tried other laxatives but find that MiraLAX works best without any side effects. Nice taste and works quickly that is nice when planning to go somewhere. No discomfort and thickness is the right consistency. You cannot beat the great deal when purchasing the large container. Great deal!

My doctor recommended this and I have found that it works just fine. He said it’s very safe and if I become very constipated I could even double the dose. At first I noticed a very slight thickening of the drink I mixed it in (I’ve used several juices, milk, eggnog) but now I don’t notice any thickening at all. It has no flavor.
