I had a stuck ford 351m engine and it would not budge with all the strength I could put into it with a 3 foot breaker bar. I used this tool with a 1" impact socket, a breaker bar and a 4' pipe off my floor jack. I added Pb blaster to all the cyls and let set a week. Then removed all the plugs and broke the stuck engine free. rocking back and forth at first, then the 5 full rotations, rocking here and there. After that i could rotate the engine with just the breaker bar alone. Also i loosened all the belts as they had rusted into the pulleys. This engine sat for 8 years in a boat wo a cover and filling with snow and this tool worked great. don't use just the breaker bar, you can crack the tool, always use with the 1" impact socket - it was only 5$ from lowes. ... show more

Bolted right up.. I used a 1 inch on it not the half inch drive as I didnt wanna crack it because I'd be doing some serious wrenchin... it took a 4 foot cheater on the breaker bar to get the motor moving... its now running today.

Broke on the very first use. I was not using an impact driver on it. In fact, it had a static load on it when it cracked. Garbage.

Purchased for a mid 70s 350 SBC that was seized from sitting. Removed the crank bolt and three bolts holding the pully to the Balancer. Installed this tool. Used a 1" 6 point socket. was able to break loose the stuck engine (after soaking with MMO and PB Blaster for a week). Tool worked great and saved from stripping or breaking the crank bolt. ... show more

    • Worked great to turn over a stuck SBC motor.
I had a car with a Chevy 350 that has been sitting for about 10 years. I tried to break it loose on the crank pulley but ended up rounding off the bolt. This tool bolted up perfectly to the three pulley holes, and fit a 1/2" breaker bar drive. I had the motor spinning within 2 mins of installing this adapter. Will definitely keep this one in my toolbox when working on old cars. ... show more
