This conditioner is really wonderful. My hair felt so soft and moisturized. I love it. I am 6 weeks post relaxer and with the heat this summer it's been tough to keep moisture in my hair. I failed to mention in my review of the shampoo partner to this conditioner is the low ph balance which l think really helped the conditioner do a great job of softening my hair and giving it shine and less frizz. > Context: 3B Hair, Avid Shea Moisture user for a few years now. Looking for something more nourishing/high quality. > First impressions: -Somewhat expensive, however you don’t need a ton of product to have it work effectively. -Feels very lightweight on the hair when applied. (Compared to shea moisture conditioner) -Neutral smell > Pros: -Due to the lightweight formula my curls bounce back after drying and aren’t weighed down and stretched out. -I feel like my hair strands are actually nourished from the inside, rather than the product lying on the outside of the follicle. > Cons: -Leaves much to be desired in terms of locking in moisture. As you can see from the pics my hair is still somewhat frizzy (might partially be my environment). -Tiny bottle for $20+ I feel like it should be doing a little more for that price. > In Summary: -It’s a step up for me when it comes to application and formula quality, but still leaves some to be desired. Really like this product for curly hair.....works very well. It’s been about 6 months or more since I wrote the above. This is still the best. Since then I did try some others just because people told me about them or good raves on here. But this still by far is the best product for curly hair. My hair looks textured not dry not fly away but curly and full. Yeah... I know for us curly gals to get all that in a conditioner. Well I’m here to get more and I’ve ordered since my last review too. I just can’t understand that there’s only one product out there. Where r the rest? Anyway I’ll stick with this one....rather still impressed.... ... show more

There's nothing wrong with this conditioner -- it's totally fine. It does the job. I have dry, curly black hair that's stripped and color-treated, and frizzy, so I'm careful and selective about picking products that serve my hair well. This does a great job, but I've used other products at cheaper prices that perform just-as-well. So while I have no complaint about this product's performance, I just think that you can find better values elsewhere. ... show more
