In an aquarium I'm sure they would..I have mine on a desk in a 3 gallon beta container and they are so cute even without the glow. And they will get tossed around with water current. Otherwise, no complaint from me.

Glow doesn’t last long enough. Tried these out for aquarium. After sitting under aquarium light all day the glow didn’t even last the duration of the night light. By the time the light was on its off duration at night the glow was already nonexistent. They do work just depends on the application you want to use them for. ... show more

They don't glow. Had them in the sun for 8 hours and nothing. Zero. Zilch. Only reason I'm not returning is because I don't want to pick up 100 plastic pieces and the colors look pretty with the rocks and shells in my flower beds.
