I have very fine, virgin, hair. But I have a lot of it! And this shampoo/conditioner: Ouai for fine hair has brought my hair back to life. I am in my mid 40's and my hair was looking flat and boring. Oaui doesn't weigh my hair down, it feels silky smooth, a little goes a long way; despite having a LOT of hair, I'm able to use less product AND with better results than other higher end shampoo/conditioner products I've used in the past. And the scent is fabulous!! Even 2 days post-wash, my hair smells amazing! And I'm not having to use any dry shampoo because it doesn't cause buildup and my hair is less oily than it was with other products. If you're on the fence, debating on spending the money, going down the rabbit hole of reading every review and comparing to every review of other products in the same price range (like I do before purchasing anything) just hit that add to cart and submit order button. I am certain this will be your holy grail of shampoo/conditioner like it now is for me. (For reference, before Ouai, I was dedicated to Joico. Joico no more!)

I like the way this shampoo and conditioner makes my hair feel. It feels very clean, yet soft and not weighed down. However, the fragrance is VERY strong. When I first smelled it, it smelled very luxurious and I liked it. However, I did not realize how strong the fragrance would be in my hair after I rinsed it out, put product in it, and blow dried it. The fragrance is still very strong on my dried/styled hair. For most shampoos and conditioners, the smell fades away after you dry your hair, but not this one. It is honestly making me a little bit self conscious because of how strong the fragrance still is and I'm pretty sure people can smell it when I walk by them or when they are near me. I work in healthcare, and generally you are not supposed to wear any strong perfumes or fragrances due to some patients being sensitive to fragrances. I worry that when I'm meeting with patients, they can smell it and some people may not like it. Some people get headaches or migraines due to perfumes/fragrances. In the future, I think I will only use this shampoo/conditioner when I am not working. Such a bummer!

I had purchased a travel size at first of this shampoo and conditioner I also got the clarifying wash. I loved the way it made my hair smell and the overall feel after I washed my hair felt clean and lightweight not thick like most hair shampoos. I will definitely recommend this product ‘

I’ve used it twice already and think it is better for my fine hair than the dove shampoo and conditioner I was using. The smell is okay I wish there were other notes other than citrus but I like it so far.

For being a more expensive brand, it really does well for my hair except for causing a bit of frizz. I've always had issues with my hair. Also have alopecia 😢 but this shampoo and conditioner makes my hair soft and shiny. This isn't a heavy shampoo either. You're not left feeling like a weight was put on your hair. I pair this with ouai deep conditioner and it does great. I also like that the smell is faint. Its not overpowering and smells clean
