I have found this coat to be nice and warm during some high-wind snowstorms this winter. Bear in mind, I live in the Southwest, so with windchills it's probably about 10 to 15 degrees. I make no claim this coat will stand up to a North Dakota sub-zero environment! It fits nicely. I intentionally purchased a size larger to allow for layers, and it's a bit snug over a sweatshirt but not enough to be constraining. I have received many compliments on the color, which always makes a girl feel good 😊 The downsides: For some reason I struggle with the zipper. Once it's started, it zips up just fine. It's getting it started. Not a deal breaker, but it is teaching me patience (ha!) The bigger challenge is the hood. It is incredibly bulky which leaves air gaps. This is not helpful in wind. However, if I cinch it down so there aren't air gaps, the top of the hood covers my eyes. This is not helpful when trying to see. After fiddling with it in front of a mirror, I think I can add some Velcro or snaps that will eliminate the air gaps without having to cinch it down so much. That's an untested theory at this point. Overall, I like the style, warmth and fit of the coat and would purchase again despite the minor areas for improvement.

I bought two of these coats for my two daughters, they have it in purple and turquoise blue. Both my daughters have matching boots to go with these coats. Every time they put them on they’re getting notice because I match the coat and boots up very well!! not very heavy, but it gets the job done. They still stay warm. I feel should be worn in the spring, or possibly fall not meant to be a winter coat in my opinion. Overall a very eye-catching and pretty coat loving the colors they’re in.

Love this coat. Inexpensive and warm. Actually considering my body size does a decent job of covering my butt lol. I know silly thing to look for when searching for a coat. But I've had expensive Columbia coats that hovered right above my hips allowing cold air to just fill the coat. Kinda defeats the purpose of keeping warm. Anyways the coat is lined with a fleecy/faux fur material that is super soft and insulating, the arms are on the thinner side not fur lined but flexible enough to be able to move arms unhindered and do a great job keeping my arms warm with the 40+ mph winds we've had so far this winter. And the sleeves are long going mostly completely down to the tips of my fingers. The only complaint I have about the coat is the adjustable wrist straps are a very rigid backing with Velcro so it does kinda scratch the insides of my wrists and hands when tightened to any degree. But I just have the strap at it's most open yet attached and it's not too bad. Plus it leaves room for my gloves to be on without any circulation issues. Even if this coat lasts me through just this one winter I would still be extremely happy with my purchase. Will buy again if and when I ever need to.

I purchased this jacket when it was on sale. It is well made and fits as expected. I like the fact that the hood can be removed. Not too crazy about the velcro on the sleeves. I have seen reviews stating there is no outside pocket in addition to the 2 side pockets. This is correct, there is none. All in all very satisfied with my purchase.
