It’s been years since I’ve had a winter jacket, I’ve always just worn hoodies even in the coldest weather. However as I age the cold weather seems to hurt a lot bit more. This jacket is true to size, it looks good, it’s comfortable, and the best part is that it will definitely keep you warm. Oh and the price wasn’t too bad either. However, like all things, there are two features about this jacket that I’m not too fond of. The first thing being is the hood of the jacket, not sure how to describe it but it’s just weird, it feels like it’s out of place and if it were a person it would probably say that it feels like it doesn’t fit in. The second thing are the linings of the sleeves, while the body of the jacket has some sort of fleece lining that aids in keeping you warm, the lining of the sleeves are of a silk like fabric which means when putting on the jacket the sleeves are cold to the touch; they won’t stay cold of course but still it would be nice if the sleeves had the same fabric as the body of the jacket. Overall I give this jacket 9/10… Who says you need a NorthFace or a Carhartt, this jacket does the same thing those brands will do, so don’t go wasting your money on brand names. Get this jacket, make it popular, and start a new trend!

I wear it over a hooded sweatshirt to the barn and around the farm. It is light weight and adequate for 15 degree temps. The inside lining is soft and warm. There is a pocket on the inside of the coat and two on the outside with zipper closings. The outside material is a stiff poly that makes noise similar to the old ski pants. As a woman 5'3" I found that size small in mens provides extra room for several layers of clothes (shirt, pullover, hooded sweatshirt) and was comfortable for me. The coat appears to be well made.

I am 5'9", 200lbs and a large fit me just right, except it's a little snug around my stomach, but I would not want to go up a size, because it would probably wear like a tent. Besides, I am trying to lose some of my gut weight, so hopefully this coat will only fit better with time. I was a little scared to order this coat after reading some of the negative reviews, so I wanted to share my experience. I got a new coat with no defects that I can tell. Every "body" is different, but a large worked for my size. Also, the fluffy material that is in the middle of the coat does not go down the sleeves, but based on the thickness and texture from squeezing the sleeves, there is insulating material inside the sleeves. I normally wear dress shirts, not thick sweatshirts, but I believe the sleeves are insulated enough for my climate. The hand pockets are not insulated, so you will want to where gloves if in the freezing cold for too long. I can not speak for how well this coat holds up to the coldest weather in the world, but it keeps me warm in the PNW where temps rarely dip much below freezing. I like that the outer fablric is thicker that a lot of coats that have that really thin plastic material that is so easy to poke wholes in. Hopefully, for that reason, this coat will hold up longer than a Winter or two before it leaks water and cold air.
