Watch the video on YouTube or you'll want to burn it or trash it. It's a bit of a hassle if you're doing it alone. Structurally, it's decent, holds my daughter's clothes well, and if it's all you can afford it is a very decent investment. I made the mistake of not noticing the depth of the boxes, so I bought the children's size that uses children's hangers, but no biggie, I just ran to the Dollar Store and got them. If you need lots of hanging space you'll have to buy 2 of them. You can fit about 6-8 articles depending on how thick the clothing is. Or maybe fit like 3-4 jackets, just to give you an idea of the space inside the long rectangle. You can sit a lot of folded clothing so if you buy this it's great for that. I also use it to create a private space for her. She loves the way it separates her from her sister. Overall I say if you can't afford a stronger closet, this is very much worth the price when set up properly. The only real issue is that some of the boxes can be slightly offset so you might have a few doors that won't close properly but it's not a problem. I used my glue gun to add width to the edges where it doesn't meet and problem solved! It's also very easy even for my daughter to move around as it is light and slides on the floor, but even on carpet it's easy to lift even with clothes in it. ... show more

I had high hopes for this as it appeared perfect for my needs. Unfortunately, it isn't. It was difficult to put together has directed once you started adding.ore cubes to the first set. Trying to install the next set causes the bottom ones to pop apart even after lashing them to together with the zip ties provided. The ties themselves were tiny hard to work with and often even pulled apart or simply broke when trying to tighten them. Not to mention the difficulty involved in trying to fasten the ties around the wire corners and through the openings once you had more than a couple cubes together. After, struggling with the ties and having the connectors pull apart or pop off even with ties firmly connected I hit on the idea of using plant wire instead of the ties. This functioned better and was easier to install. The process of trial and error actually took me a couple days, but I was only able to work a couple hours each day. My guess would be about 4 hours of assembly time total. The finished product empty was unstable and doors did not fit properly on many of the cubes because of their slightly off square shaping. Even stacking only light weight items inside caused additional sagging. Frankly, I would have returned it but I couldn't face the work involved in dismantling it. So, it's standing in my bedroom only about half full and looking very like it might collapse given any provocation. Oh, did I mention, it came with an extra wire floor piece put short one outside canvas piece. I left off the top of onee column. Included tools were adequate but hammer came apart couple times, still it was free. All in all, I really can't recommend it. Like I said, I would have returned it but just could face the time and effort of dismantling and boxing it up. Doubt it will stand for more than a few months. Sad. Could be sturdier, I'd recommend anchoring it to the wall but the storage potential is outstanding, super easy to assemble. I love it. Definitely recommend getting some of those cloth drawer things to go with it too for socks and undies.

I knew for the price of this portable cube wardrobe that I wasn’t getting the best product on the market but I was surprised with just how flimsy it was. We recently built a bedroom in our finished basement for my teenage son and he needed some closet space. I wanted something modern and something that fit his style while also keeping in mind he’ll be headed to college in a couple years and could take this with him. (Not even sure it will still be standing by this summer so not going to hold my breath about him taking it to college) My first indication that this was kind of a garbage product was the fact that the directions weren’t really detailed. I read them several times looking for a larger picture of how to connect the shelves into the connectors with no luck. After trying several different methods I ended up figuring it out. The second red flag was the fact that the connectors really weren’t even connecting in some areas (see pictures) you can see large gaps between the wire shelves and the connectors. At this point I’m more confident in the zip ties holding it together than the connectors. Also, the shelves were definitely not all the same size. Some were noticeably larger and even had a slight bend to them making it hard to line up with the other shelf layers…. I had to switch them out for a different shelf that fit better. Another thing that sent me was the fact we ordered a black shelving unit and instead of getting black zipties , or black hanging rods, they sent white. It would’ve been nice to have everything be more cohesive and not such a huge contrast. Would I buy it again? No. Will it serve its purpose? Hopefully. I was going to give 1 star but since it didn’t fall apart as we moved it into the space I added an extra one. Spend a little more money for something else. ... show more

I'm not completely dissatisfied with this order. It serves its purpose. The cubes are large and hold a lot of clothing, sheets, shoe boxes, and more. When I received the package, it had broken open and I'm missing 24 connectors. The packaging needs to be a little bigger with padding to accommodate the heaviness of the grates. The single sheet of bubble wrap wasn't enough. I had enough of the connectors to assemble three 5-tier towers and one 4-tier tower. I have ordered more connectors so I can finish assembling everything. The price was high for the quality, but the cubes are roomy enough to store a lot of items in. ... show more
